This study examines the meaning of mind and body medicine that emphasizes the relationship between body and mind and explores the possibility of healing based on holistic ideas. Although the body and mind exist in different dimensions, they exhibit characteristics that move in unison as though they are different. In other words, the mind affects the body, but on the contrary there is a correlation that also affects the mind. The body does not unilaterally determine the mind, and the mind can not dominate the body unilaterally. It can be seen through the Placebo effect and the stress response that it proves that the mind and body interact. The basis of holistic healing is to treat the body, mind, and soul of the patient, an effort to achieve emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual balance in humans. It also aims to solve the cause, not the symptom. In addition, holistic healing is known as part of alternative medicine, and it is recommended that you discover the healing properties within yourself by healing your mind as well as your body. In this way, human beings need to understand and approach interaction as an integral body and mind. The fundamental goal of healing is to try to make ‘healthy mind' a ‘healthy body' through ’mind'.
