초록

영어

Firstly, there is a certain image of cats that are fierce and revengeful animals in Korea. Compared to other countries, Japanese people like cats. The dominant image of cats is that they are cute, gentle, obedient and friendly animals in Japan. Secondly, the cat which appears in the work of ‘I Am a Cat’ is depicted romantic in some ways. The cat gets drunk in a water barrel and then greets the moon. In other ways, it is described as the psychologically weak cat. The cat tries to have peace of mind by using death, and cannot even catch rats. The cat as a ’protagonist’ enjoys superior food culture, having rice soup and beers. The cat spies on people’s conversation and then criticizes and satirizes people as arrogant snobs. This is an insolent image of the cat.
