The world is endless and there are so many things to do. But we cannot give previous teachings about their job for all students. Human being only subsist upon instantaneous selection in absurd life which is given themselves and the future that they don't know. Teaching this absurd life during school hours of moral education, Cannot we give to understand how to stand it? As a tentative plan, I would like to introduce movie which it's media. is a movie of the story that a congenital brain-injured person tearfully stands the absurd life which is given him and finally he enjoys happiness of his life. Students have a vivid experience about the life of the displayed others on the scene. Through this experience, they can find another themselves and feel the absurdity of life in the image of protagonist. If everybody must have lived this absurd life with a lesion, this movie will give reliance to students which should be standing a condition of life given themselves. It is a Kyong(敬) study to keep up this reliance. Because it is explained by GeoGyong(居敬), GungLi(窮理), the study of knowledge and conduct is unable to separate. That is the study itself to stand a process which a non-disable person accept the disable person as classmate and carry out manners(禮) to reply. This is a Kyong(敬) study as moral education which is able to study on the field of life.

세계는 넓고 할 일은 많지만, 학생들 개개인에게 자신의 할 일을 미리 가르칠 수는 없다. 인간들은 자신에게 주어진, 내일을 알 수 없는 부조리한 삶을 순간의 선택으로 살아내고 있을 뿐이다. 중학교 도덕 수업시간에 이 부조리한 삶을 가르치며, 이 삶을 버티어내는 방법을 터득하게 할 수는 없는 것일까? 그 시안으로서 <영화>라는 매체를 도입해 본다. 《나의 왼발》은 선천성 뇌성마비 장애인이 자신에게 주어져 있는 부조리한 삶을 눈물겹게 살아내며 자신의 행복을 구가하는 내용의 영화이다. 학생들이 이 영화의 화면에서 자기 눈앞에 현시하는 타인의 모습을 생생하게 경험하게 된다. 그리고 이 경험을 통하여 장애인의 모습 속에 또 다른 자신의 모습을 보면서 장애인과 나는 동등한 인간임을 자각하게 하고 더 나아가 삶의 부조리를 느끼게 하는 것이다. 누구나 일면의 장애를 지니며 이 부조리한 삶을 살아내어야 한다면, 이 영화는, 학생들이 자신에게 주어져 있는 삶의 조건을 버티어내려는 의지를 가지게 한다. 이 의지를 지속시키는 방도로서 제시하는 것이 敬공부이다. 교실에서 비장애인 학생이, 짝지로 선택된 장애인을 받아들여 타인으로서 應對하는 禮를 익혀 실천하는 과정이 가능하도록 버티어 내는 것 자체가 공부이며 이것이 도덕교육으로서 삶의 현장에서 할 수 있는 敬공부이다. 이는 나아가, 나와 타인을 바라보는 또 다른 나인 대타자를 의식하며 자신을 극복하고 인간 서로가 더불어 살아야할 당위를 발견하게 하는 것이다. 부조리한 삶 속에서도 더불어 사는 지혜로서 현명한 자신의 말과 행위를 선택하게 될 것이다. 이것이 도덕교육으로 얻어지는 현존하는 학생들 삶의 행복이라고 본다.
