This study aims to understand the multicultural sensitivity and multicultural teaching efficacy of youth workers. As currently there are not many actual researches on youth workers' multicultural awareness, the study on their multicultural sensitivity and teaching efficacy would be significant to provide basic data to perform multicultural education related to youth activities. Conducting a survey targeting 265 youth workers working in the whole nation, the conclusion like below has been drawn. First, in the results of dividing youth workers' multicultural sensitivity into participation in interaction, respect for cultural difference, confidence in interaction, enjoyment of interaction, and attention to interaction, youth workers mostly had high level of multicultural sensitivity while several items showed different results. Second, in the results of classifying/analyzing youth workers' multicultural teaching efficacy into teaching efficacy of general life, lesson function, and interpersonal relationship, youth workers' teaching efficacy of general life was highly formed while their teaching efficacy of lesson function was low. Based on the results above, the measures to increase youth workers' multicultural sensitivity and multicultural teaching efficacy were suggested.

본 연구를 통하여 청소년지도사의 다문화 감수성과 다문화 교수효능감에 대해 알아 보고자 한다. 청소년지도사의 다문화 인식과 관련하여 실질적 연구가 미비한 현실에서 이들을 대상으로 다문화 감수성 및 교수효능감을 조사하는 것은 청소년 활동에서 다문 화교육을 시행하는데 필요한 기초 자료를 제공할 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 본 연 구를 위하여 전국에서 활동하고 있는 265명의 청소년지도사들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 청소년지도사의 다문화 감수성을 상호작용 참여도, 문화차이 존중도, 상호작용 자신도, 상호작용 향유도, 상호작용 주의 도로 나누어 살펴본 결과 청소년지도사는 대체적으로 높은 수준의 다문화 감수성을 가 지고 있었으나 몇 가지 항목에서 상이한 결과를 나타내었다. 둘째, 청소년지도사의 다문 화 교수효능감을 일반생활 교수효능감, 수업기능 교수효능감, 인간관계 교수효능감으 로 분류하여 분석한 결과, 청소년지도사의 일반생활 교수효능감과 인간관계 교수효능 감은 높게 형성되어 있는 반면, 수업기능 교수효능감은 낮은 수준의 결과가 나타났다. 위의 결과를 토대로 청소년지도사의 다문화 감수성과 다문화 교수효능감을 높이기 위한 방안 등을 제언하였다.
