This article discusses the nuanced differences between the previously established meaning of sentences containing temorau and its use in the sentence keikinotemorattekei. The discussion focuses on the reasons why tekureru cannot be interchanged with the latter i.e. why the sentence cannot be constructed by completely omitting temorau. Finally, it is shown that the sentence ni does not benefit from the use of temorau. Our work primarily concludes that the use of the sentence keikinotemorattekei in the Japanese language is incongruous and therefore unacceptable, a result that is in accordance with the research and analysis of Takami/Kuno (2002). This article presupposes people’s unintended use of eikinotemorattekei as an active verb as opposed to using it in the way it was originally intended. This can be ascribed to the fact that keikinotemorattekei inevitably softens the effects of teageru/tesashiageru as well as the effects of issuing demands or orders by enabling people to show mutual respect for one another in conversation.

본고에서는 기존의 연구에서 밝혔던「-temorau」문장과「keikinotemorattekei」의 차이점을 고찰하고,「keikinotemorattekei」는 「-temorau 」문장이가지고 있는 특징과는 달리,「-tekureru」하고바꾸어서 표현할수없고, 「-temorau」의생략이가능하며,「ni」격 명사구에 의한 수익이 생기는 것도 아님을 밝혔다. 또한 다카미/구노 (2002)의 어용론적 요인에 관한 수치분석을 기준으로 분석해 본결과「keikinotemorattekei」는 부적격한 문장이 되어 버리는 것도 확인 했다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 「keikinotemorattekei」가 많이 사용되고 있는 이유에 대해서 고찰 해 본 결과,「keikinotemorattekei」는수수동사가 본래 가지고 있는, 수익이 발생하는 것을 나타내는 기능과는 다른 기능을 담당하고 있는 것으로 추론하고「keikinotemorattekei」는, 「-teageru/-tesashiageru」의대체표현이거나, 명령 등 을 부드럽게 표현하고자 하는 상대방에 대한 배려를 나타내는 기능으로서 사용되고 있다고 생각한다.
