Service Productivity Enhancement Based on the Relationship between the Psychological Empowerment and Job Attitudes

This research is aimed to reveal the relationship between psychological empowerment and job involvement. In addition, this research focuses on the mediating role of job satisfaction on the relationship between two variables. For this purpose, 236 employees who joined Hotels completed the questionnaires and SPSS was employed. The findings are as follows:Firstly, psychological empowerment consists of three factors:competence, meaningfulness and self-determination. Secondly, competence and meaningfulness influence on job involvement while self-determination does not. Thirdly, job satisfaction partially mediates psychological empowerment and job involvement. Finally, some implications are included.
