The Study on the Acceptance Intention of Smart Mobile Office : Focused on TAM

Because of the rapidly changing environment and increased uncertainty, businesses need to respond quickly and accurately in a facing situation. Recently, many organization and companies introduce ‘smart-work’ in order to provide a flexible working environment. smart-work makes work to be continued without restriction of time and place to perform real-time enterprise. The purpose of this study is to confirm and verify factors which influence on smart phone mobile office accommodate decision process through finding characteristic of smart phone and mobile office, user’s personal characteristic and acceptance factor to smart phone users who have used mobile office. Theoretical model is presented through previous study and practical verification is conducted through survey. Independent variables are characteristic of smart phone(diversity, security), characteristic of mobile office(instant connectivity, riskiness, complexity), user’s personal characteristic(user’s familiarity, user’s innovation) and parameters are perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and dependent variable is use intention. Survey is conducted to verify the relationship among these variables and examined by the structural equation modeling. The results of this study are as follows. First, the concern about security of the characteristics of smart phone gives a negative influence on the intension to use. Second, it is reconfirmed relationship between perceived ease of use and the perceived usefulness which are the key variables effecting on the intention to use in TAM. Lastly, difference of the intention to use between the genders is confirmed.
