The Chinese verb "有" is a vocabulary that has a wide use structure and meaning, and is frequently used in spoken and written languages. Until now, in Chinese education we has been mainly focused on the meaning of ‘existence’ and ‘possession’, but there is no detailed description of the characteristics and limitations of the sentences used. In addition to the meaning and usage complexity of the Chinese verb "有", Korean learners are making more mistakes due to the similarity of the semantics of the Korean verb "∼에 있다" and the Chinese verb "有". In this paper, the types of errors and causes of occurrence are analyzed and the education countermeasures are presented based on the errors of “addition’ and “omission’ among the errors that Korean learners perceive in relation to the use of modern Chinese verb ‘有’.
