This study is a study of management method that can be applied to the management of modern beauty companies by analyzing the management method of Gamyung which is the middle stage of the local government in the central ruling dominance of the Joseon Dynasty. The Joseon Dynasty aimed at national rule based on Confucian ideology, aiming not only to achieve a centralized state stay but also to rule the state by rule of law. Therefore, the Joseon Dynasty completed the local administrative organization of the provincial level in order to smooth the operation of the Gunhyun System, and the appearance of Gamsa to operate it smoothly was a demand of the times. The role of the Gamsa of early Joseon became more and more responsable to the late Joseon dynasty, and it is different of the way of operating the Pyungando, Hamgildo, Hwanghedo and Gyeonggido, Gangwondo, and Chungcheongdo, Gyeongsangdo, Jaelrado The method of local governance management of the Gamsa was changed from Sunyuk System in the first time to Ryuyoung System and various systems to operate the Gamyoung were arranged. There were activities to secure funds to support the operating expenses, such as Hwangok, Bangchae, Jungchae, Jabsae, Mingo, And it played a big role in the preparation of the financial resources of Gamyoung, but the harmful effects of it had become a great burden on the people. The operating style of Gamyoung in the Joseon Dynasty has a reasonable and economical utility that can be utilized by Present Beauty Companies as well. It will be a good operating method if the manager of The Beauty Company uses method of Gamyoung management in the management and decision making of the organization based on the business theories.

이 연구는 조선시대 中央集權的 지배체재에서 지방통치의 중간단계인 監營의 운영 방식을 經營學的으로 분석하여 현대의 美容企業의 經營에 적용할 수 있는 運營方法의 연구이다. 조선왕조는 儒敎 理念에 의한 지향하였고, 이를 위해 중앙집권적 국가체제를 이룩하고자 하였을 뿐만 아니라 法治에 의한 국가 통치를 목표로 하였다. 그리하여 조선은 郡縣制度의 원활한 운영을 위해 道 단위의 지방행정조직을 완성하였고, 이를 원활하게 운영하기 위한 감사의 출현은 시대적 요구였다. 조선 초기 감사의 역할은 조선 후기로 갈수록 책임과 권한이 더욱 커졌으며, 평안도, 함길도, 황해도의 북삼도와 경기도, 강원도 그리고 충청도, 경상도, 전라도의 하삼도의 감영운영방식 또한 달랐다 감사의 地方統治 방식도 선초에는 巡營制에서 후기에는 留營制로 바뀌게 되었고, 이에 감영을 운영하기 위한 각종 제도들이 정비되었고, 운영비를 지원하기 위한 재원확보활동들이 있었는데, 還穀, 放債, 情債, 雜稅, 民庫 등이 그것이며, 이는 감영의 재원마련에는 큰 역할을 하였지만 그 폐해가 지나쳐 민생에 큰 부담이 되었다. 이러한 조선시대 감영의 운영방식은 현대의 미용기업에서도 활용할 수 있을 만큼 합리적이고 경제적인 효용을 갖고 있다. 미용기업의 경영자가 조직의 운영 및 의사결정에서 감영의 운영 방식에 대해 경영학적 이론에 기초하여 미용기업 경영에 활용한다면 훌륭한 운영 방법이 될 것이다.
