The basic structure of JaJin Yukjabaegi consists of two chapters having four Gaks with three beats, similiar to Sasul-Buchimsae showing regular patterns based on the proportion of beats. In the melody patterns, the first chapter begins with first Gak with the four changeable melodies of Jirem, Pyung and Sugim and ends with one note in the forth Gak. In the second chapter there are specific melodies in each Gak. I found that there was a structure in Jajin Yukjabaegi. Analysis results are summarized in the following.

자진 육자배기의 기본구조는 2장 형식으로 한 장은 3박 한 장단이 4각으로 구성되며 사설붙임 새는 박의 비율에 따라 일정한 형태로 나타난다. 선율형에 있어서 1장은 첫 각을 지름ㆍ평ㆍ숙임의 4가지 가변(可變) 선율로 시작하여 4각에서 한 음으로 종지하고 있으며 2장은 각 별 특정선율이 나타나고 있어 구조화된 형식을 이룬다.
