Teaching and learning are the main axises in school education. The subject of teaching is a teacher and the subject of learning is a student. The field of class where teaching and learning happens simultaneously is the fresh actuality of education and shows dynamic feature which enable people to feel the future. In the study, I focus on the function of a teacher teaching and learning the Korean Music to grasp the problematic and suggest my own solutions for them. Through The questionnaire, I tried grasping the recognition of teachers who actually take a role of education in our school and the degree of function of practical training on Korean Music. The conclusion shows us that the function of teachers on Korean Music was highly weak to teach students. Because of the weak function, teaching and learning of songs of Korean Music have not gained students' interests and the function of rhythm on janggu just disturbed the singing activity while education on danso have not performed in general without any durability resulting failure on achieving the purpose suggested on the textbooks. Also, this study let us know that teachers' training for practical function wasn't performed efficiently. The solution for these problems would be proper locating and using teachers who are qualified enough because it's impossible to make all the teachers be skillful on the practical field of Korean Music. Also, I suggest introduction of 'training exchange' as a possible and efficient form of training for teachers with expanding the training gradually.

가르치고 배우는 교수와 학습이야말로 학교 교육에서 가장 중요한 축이다. 가르치는 주체는 교사이고, 학습하는 주체는 학생이다. 가르치고 학습하는 현상이 동시에 일어나고 있는 수엽의 현장 이야말로 교육의 생생한 현재이고 또한, 미래를 느낄 수 있는 역동적인 모습이다. 논의의 초점을 국악 교수ㆍ학습에 필요한 교사들의 기능에 맞추어 문제점을 파악해보고 그에 대한 해결책을 나름대로 제안해 보았다. 설문을 통해 본교의 교육을 직접 담당하는 교사들의 인식과 국악 실기 기능 정도를 파악해 보았다. 그 결과, 현장 교사들의 국악 실기 기능이 국악을 지도하기에는 매우 부족했다. 부족한 기능으로 인해 국악 가창 교수ㆍ학습이 학생들의 흥미를 유발하지 못하고 있었고, 부족한 장구 장단 기능은 가창 활동에 오히려 방해가 되었으며, 단소 교육이 전면적으로 이루어지지 못하고 지속성도 부족하여 교과서에 제시된 수준의 단소 교육이 이루어지지 못했다. 또한 교사들의 설기 기능에 대한 연수가 효율적으로 이 루어지지 못하고 있다는 것도 알 수 있었다. 해결책으로는 모든 교사가 국악 실기 능력을 고루 갖추게 하는 것은 현실적으로 불가능하기 때문에 국악 실기 능력을 갖춘 교사를 적절하게 배치 활용해야 할 것이며, 또한 점차적으로 교사들의 연수를 확대하면서 현실적으로 가능하며 효율적인 방안의 연수로 품앗이 연수라는 제도를 도입하고자 제안한다.
