This study is a case of process of adaptation of Korean Enneagram type 6 child in shelter for child abuse. The child was a first-year student of middle school and was sent to a shelter for child abuse victims through a child protection institution. It is a case of psychological therapy without a fixed period of time. Although he has the advantage of mandatory and traditional as a type 6 loyalist, It seemed hard to help him because he was branded as a troublemaker due to his reckless, self-destructive outbursts in the extreme unhealthy state. This is the study of the process of adaptation of child who show various unhealthy characteristics by happening large and small incidents. The counseling period has been 72 sessions for 12 months from April 2016 to March 2017 and will be continued until the child’s discharge. From self-defeating(masochism) of type 6, showing complex expressions with hyperactivity( irrational behavior), self-blame(dependence upon others) and rebellion(Authoritarianism), Growing up to be dependent on others while showing double-sideness, he has grown up to be affective involvement(I am liked.) such as contribution and devotion(cooperation).

본 연구는 한국형에니어그램 6번 유형 아동이 학대피해아동쉼터에서의 적응 과정을 연구한 사례이다. 중학교 1학년 남자아동으로 아동보호전문기관을 통해서 학대피해아동쉼터로 입소되었 다. 불건강한 상태로 정해진 기간 없이 심리치료를 하게 된 사례이다. 상담기간은 2016년 4월 부터 2017년 3월까지 12개월 동안 총 72회기를 하였고, 퇴소시까지 지속될 예정이다. 대상아동은 6번 유형 충성가로 의무적, 전통적이라는 장점이 있음에도 불구하고, 극심한 불 건강한 상태에서 나오는 무모한 자기 파괴적이고 화를 잘 내는 행동으로 인하여 문제아로 낙인 찍혀서 도움이 어려워 보였다. 대상아동이 6번 유형의 다양한 불건강한 특성을 보이며 크고 작 은 사건들을 발생시키면서 적응해 나가는 과정을 연구한 것이다. 6번 유형의 자기패배(메조히즘)로부터 과잉행동(비합리적 행동)을 동반하는 복잡한 표출, 자 기비난(타인에 의존)과 반항(권위주의)을 보이며, 양면성을 보이다가 타인에게 의존하면서까지 성장을 거듭하며 공헌 헌신(협력)도 보이는 등 정서적 참여(나는 호감을 받는다)까지 이르는 성장을 하였다.
