The purpose of this study is to present the efficacy of Facical Stimulation Assesment (FSA) as a projection drawing tool for patients with schizophrenia through the response characteristics of FSA in schizophrenic and ordinary people. The subjects of this study were 35 Schizophrenia in the M hospital of W group and 35 ordinary people with no history of Schizophrenia. The data were analyzed by correlation and t - test. The results of the study are as follows. In both FSA 1 and FSA 2 results, schizophrenia patients had lower scores than the general population. There was a significant difference (t = -14.21, p<.001) in FSA 1 and a significant difference (t = -10.64, p<.001) in FSA 2. In all sub-domains, the schizophrenic group showed lower scores than the general population, and there was a significant difference in 'appropriateness of color', 'logicality', 'emotional content' and 'number of used colors'. The results of this study confirmed the possibility of application of FSA in the clinical field by projective picture test as a screening tool of schizophrenia.

본 연구의 목적은 조현병 환자집단과 정상대조군의 Facical Stimulation Assesment (FSA)의 반응특성을 통해 조현병 환자의 투사그림도구로서 FSA의 효용성을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 W군의 M병원의 조현병 환자 35명과 조현병 병력이 없는 35명의 일반인이다. 자료분석은 상관분석, t검증을 하였으며 이에 따른 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. FSA 1과 FSA 2의 결과 모두에서 조현병 환자집단이 정상대조군에 비해 낮은 점수로 FSA 1에서 유의미한 차이(t = -14.21, p<.001)가 있는 것으로 나타났고, FSA 2에서도 유의미한 차이(t = -10.64, p<.001)가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 모든 하위영역에서 조현병 환자집단이 일반인보다 낮은 점수를 보였는데 특히 ‘색의 적절성’, ‘논리성’, ‘정서적 내용’에서 큰 차이를 보였으며 ‘사용한 색의 수’에서도 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 이에 본 연구 결과를 통해 조현병 환자의 선별도구로서의 투사적 그림검사 FSA의 임상현장 활용 가능성을 확인하였다.
