This purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of female consumer's consumption propensity on consumer transaction competency. In April 2015, an online survey was conducted with adult females from all over the nation in South Korea and 500 questionaries were analyzed. SPSS 21.0 was used to calculate Cronbach'α value with the survey data. Pearson's product-moment correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were also conducted. The main results are as follows. First, female consumer’s knowledge about consumer transaction had a significant correlation with the propensity for environmental protection. Consumer transaction attitude and practice showed a significantly positive correlation with the propensity for purchase planning, while a negative correlation was detected with the propensity for impulse buying. Second, the female consumers’ competency for using necessary consumption information showed a positive correlation with purchase planning, awareness tendency for others, and environmental protection propensity but, negative correlation with the impulse buying propensity. Competency of making a decision for purchasing and dispute solving skills revealed positive correlation with the environmental protection propensity, but negative correlation with impulse buying propensity. Third, when female consumer’s background variables were under control, only environmental protection propensity had a static influence on consumption propensity and transaction knowledge. In the consumer transaction attitude, the environmental protection propensity and the awareness tendency for others showed a static correlation, while impulse buying tendency showed a negative influence. In the consumer transaction practice, the environmental protection propensity showed a static effect, but the propensity for impulse buying showed a negative influence. Lastly, the main consumption propensity variables that affects the information comprehension competency of female consumers were environmental protection propensity, awareness tendency for others, and impulse buying propensity. consumption propensity variables that affect the competency of making a decision for purchasing and dispute solving competency were the environmental protection and impulse buying propensity. Solutions and suggestions were proposed with these results to enhance the consumer transaction competency of female consumers.

이 연구는 여성소비자의 소비성향이 소비자거래역량에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 하였다. 전국 성인여성을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 2015년 4월 실시하여 총 500부의 설문지를 분석하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 21.0 통계패키지를 사용하여 크론바흐의 알파(Cronbach'α)값 산출, Pearson의 적률상관관계분석, 위계적 다중회귀분석(multiple regression analysis)을 실시하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 여성소비자의 소비자거래지식은 환경보호성향과 정적인 상관관계를 보였다. 소비자거래태도와 소비자거래실천은 자원계획구매성향, 환경보호성향과는 정적인 상관을 보였고, 충동구매성향과는 부적인 상관관계를 나타냈다. 둘째, 여성소비자의 정보이해활용역량은 자원계획구매성향, 타인의식성향, 환경보호성향과는 정적인 상관을 보였고, 충동구매성향과는 부적 상관을 보였다. 구매의사결정역량과 사용분쟁해결역량은 자원계획구매성향, 환경보호성향과는 정적인 상관을 보였고, 충동구매성향과는 부적 상관을 보였다. 셋째, 여성소비자의 배경변인을 통제했을 때 소비자거래지식에 정적인 영향을 미치는 소비성향은 환경보호성향뿐이었다. 소비자거래태도에서는 환경보호성향과 타인의식성향은 정적인 영향을, 충동구매성향은 부적 영향을 나타냈다. 소비자거래실천에서는 환경보호성향은 정적인 영향을, 충동구매성향은 부적 영향을 나타냈다. 넷째, 여성소비자의 정보이해활용역량에 영향을 미치는 소비성향은 환경보호성향, 타인의식성향, 충동구매성향이었다. 구매의사결정역량과 사용분쟁해결역량에 영향을 미치는 소비성향은 환경보호성향과 충동구매성향이었다. 다섯째, 여성소비자의 학력은 소비자거래역량 중 사용분쟁해결역량을 제외한 정보이해활용역량과 구매의사결정역량에서의 태도와 실천에 직, 간접적 영향을 보였다. 반면 학력과의 연관성이 없었던 사용분쟁해결역량은 연령이 중요한 긍정적 변인이었다. 소비를 위한 월평균 개인지출액은 구매의사결정역량과 소비자거래태도에 부적인 영향력을 보였으나 소비성향을 통제했을 때는 영향력이 사라져서 직접적 효과라기보다 소비성향을 통한 간접적 효과가 탐지되었다. 이상의 결과를 바탕으로 여성소비자의 거래역량을 증진시킬 수 있는 방안들이 제안되었다.
