Recently, random chat using the smartphone by young people has become a serious social problem that is called a hot spot of prostitution. If you look at the main reasons why random chat is being used as a prostitution tool for young people is you can easily sign up without a separate authentication procedure and the fact that personal information is not exposed. Most people want to connect with a prostitute through random chat because they prefer teenagers and teenagers can easily make pocket money for themselves. If adolescents, who do not have a sex identity and develop one by random chatting and get addicted, they will have a distorted consciousness about sexuality. They will regard themselves as a means to make money by commodifying their body rather than thinking about protection and safe sex . They are also likely to be exposed to various crimes such as prostitution. Therefore, it is urgent to take special precautions and countermeasures so that youths are not exposed to dangerous conditions through random chatting. In conclusion, in this study, the definition of random chat addiction and the effect of random chat addiction on the sexual consciousness of adolescents were examined. In addition, through the random chatting, which has been steadily increasing since 2012, it was also discussed how to take measures to eradicate prostitution through random chat, and suggested ways to prevent it.

최근 청소년들의 스마트폰을 이용한 랜덤 채팅이 성매매의 온상지로 불릴 정도로 심각한사회문제로 대두되고 있다. 이렇게 랜덤 채팅이 청소년들에게 성매매 도구로 이용되고 있는주된 이유를 살펴보면 별도의 인증절차 없이 손쉽게 가입할 수 있으며, 개인정보가 노출되지않는다는 점과 랜덤 채팅을 통해 성매매를 하고자 하는 사람들의 경우 대부분이 어린 청소년들을 선호하고 청소년들 역시 그들을 대상으로 쉽게 용돈을 벌 수 있기 때문이다. 성정체성이 확립되지 않은 청소년들이 랜덤 채팅에 빠져 중독에 이르게 된다면 성에 대한왜곡된 성의식을 갖고 되어 자신의 성에 대해서도 아끼고 보호해야한다고 생각하기보다는 자신의 성을 상품화하여 돈을 벌기 위한 수단으로 여기게 될 것이며, 이로 인해 성매매 등 다양한 범죄에 노출되기 쉽다. 따라서 우후죽순 늘어나는 랜덤 채팅을 통해 조건만남, 성매매 등에 청소년이 노출되지 않도록 각별한 주의와 이에 대한 대응책 마련이 시급하다. 그러므로 이연구에서는 랜덤 채팅 중독에 대한 정의와 랜덤 채팅 중독이 청소년들의 성의식에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 한다. 이와 더불어 2012년 이후부터 꾸준히 증가하고 있는 랜덤 채팅으로 인한 성매매 실태와 피해사례를 통해 랜덤 채팅을 통한 성매매를 근절하기 위해서는 어떠한 대책이 마련되어야 하는지 논의해보고 이를 예방 할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.
