This study was to analyze the relationships between the non-verbal communication behavior of the kumdo coach and the elite athletes' sports commitment and athlete life satisfaction. For this, a survey method was executed targeting the college kumdo athletes who participated in the level I of the 57th National University Kumdo Championships. Convenience sampling method was used and 350 questionnaires were distributed. Total 331 questionnaires were used for the final analysis. SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 18.0 version were used for data analysis, such as frequency analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study a follows, first, the physical appearance and pseudo-language special behaviors were found to have significant influence on the cognitive commitment; all factors of the non-verbal communication to have significant influence on behavior commitment. Second, only the physical appearance was not found to have significant influence on the environmental satisfaction and social approval; physical appearance and pseudo-language to have significant influence on athlete life satisfaction. Finally, sports commitment was found to have significant influence on the athlete life satisfaction.

이 연구의 목적은 검도지도자의 비언어적 커뮤니케이션 행동이 검도선수들의 운동몰입 및 선수생활만족과의 관 계를 규명하고자한다. 연구대상은 제 57회 춘계전국대학검도연맹전 1부 경기에 참여한 대학검도 선수들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 표본은 편의표본추출법을 이용하여 총 350부를 배포·수집하였으며, 부적합하다고 판단된 19부를 제외한 총 331부를 최종 분석에 사용하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS 21.0, AMOS 18.0버전을 활용하여, 빈도분석, 신뢰도분석, 확인적 요인분석, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 신체적 외 양, 의사언어 공간적 행위만이 인지몰입에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며, 비언어적 커뮤니케이션의 모든 요인이 행위몰입에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 신체적 외양은 환경적 만족, 사회적 승인에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았으며, 신체적 외양과 의사언어는 선수생활만족에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 운동몰입은 선수생활만족에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다.
