This article is to clarify the South and North Korean Talk for their Unification processes in the present situation. For this purpose, 4 stages of North and South peace talks are identified, and understood to face the difficulties involved in this talk processes. First, the importance of the epistemological positions concerning South and North Unification Talks are discussed from the general scientific perspectives. Second, approach from the differences of world views between South and North Korea is sought in the discussions between South and North Unification Talks. Third, the consideration of various kinds of communications between South and North Korea is explored from the Christian counseling perspective. Fourth, the theological, and moral aspects (attitudes and roles) in South and North Korean Unification talks are to be explained. Firstly, Epistemological approach has moved from naive idealism and realism in the modern era to critical realism in the postmodern era. Accordingly, the relationships between truth and realities in knowledge are considered flexibly and in diverse manners. Secondly, in the perspective of worldviews, relationship between Christ and culture are studied. Christ is sometimes against, of, above, above and through culture. The position of the Christ as cultural transformer is applied in South and North Korea talks for Unification. Thirdly, in the communication dimension, both the relationships among self, other, and third parties, and among self, other, and situations are altogether studied. The need of mutual respect are vital to get productive results. The causes of good and bad cycles of South and North Korean relationships are searched. Fourthly, concerning the theological and moral aspects, South and North Korean churches has to seek their intrinsic qualities of church as West and East German churches did. The roles of South and North Korean churches has to contributes to the unification of South and North Korean. West and East churches did significant contributions to the unification of churches to transcend ideological barriers. It is concluded that the mature preparation in these four levels enable South and North to be united in the meaningful way.

이 연구는 남북 대화의어려운 난점을 이해하고 해결하기 위한 선교적 접근으로 네 단계의 글을 제시하였다. 첫째는, 기본적 학문에 대한 자세로 남북 관계 인식론적 이해이다. 둘째는, 문화인류학적 이해로 남북 대화의 세계관적 상이성에 따른 접근이다. 셋째는, 남북 대화의 의사소통의 관점에서의 고려이다. 넷째는, 신학적, 도덕적 고려로 남북한 교회의 남북 대화와 남북 통일을 위한 올바른 자세와 역할에 대한 숙고이다. 첫째, 인식론적 접근에서는 근대의 지식과 실재를 무비판적으로 동일시하는 순진무구한 관념론(Naive Idealism) 내지는 실재론(Naive Realism)에서 현대의 비판적 실재론의 입체적 실재와 진리의 관점에서 융통성과 인식론적 다양성을 수용하는 부분적 진리와 관계적 진리를 수용하는 문제이다. 둘째, 세계관적 접근에서는 문화와 그리스도와의 관계에서 문화와 대립하는, 문화의, 문화와 양립하는, 문화를 초월하는 자세에서 문화 변혁자의 자세로 문화 안에서 문화를 통해서 역사하시는 그리스도의 입장에서의 남북 대화를 이야기 하였다. 셋째, 의사소통적 접근에서는 자신과 상대 그리고 제삼자 혹은 자신과 상대 그리고 상황에 대한 총체적 고려와 상호 존중의 필요성 그리고 남북 대화 중단과 재개의 요인 분석을 통한 악순환, 선순환의 과정을 연구하였다. 넷째, 신학적 접근으로서 남북 대화와 더 나아가 통일에 기여할 수 있는 교회의 본질을 지키려는 노력들을 독일 통일과 동,서독교회의 역할을 통하여 고찰하였다. 특히 동,서독 교회가 정치적으로는 분리되어 있지만 교회의 특별한 관계인 공동체성의 유지, 어려운 자들을 섬기는 디아코니아 교회, 전쟁 없는 나라에 대한 주장 등은 독일 통일을 위한 이데올로기 극복에 큰 역할을 하였다. 결론적으로, 이런 네 가지 수준에서의 총체적인 준비가 이루어져 나갈 때에 남북 대화 및 남북통일에 한걸음 더 전진해 나갈 수 있을 것이다.
