This study aims to find out plan for qualitative physical contact by analyzing way of doing and requirement about physical contact with teachers who performs childcare program in national level and teacher who experienced Waldorf education. For this, we executed interview with 6 child-care teacher who works in Daejeon Chungnam area, and the study issue related 5 topic and 11 sub-topics were appeared through inductive content analysis method. As a result of quality analysis of collected material, (1) thoughts contained in physical contact (2) adding to physical contact (3) change through physical contact (4) barrier of physical contact (5) support for qualitative physical contact were deducted. Every teacher recognized physical contact is important and experienced change of children through the contact. However, teachers who experienced Waldorf education said physical contact is special behavior having sincrerity toward infants, and barrier of physical contact is mental attitude of teachers themselves. Through this, we realized practice method continues to develop through the study. Based on the result of this study, we discussed where child-care teacher's physical contact related institute of distance teacher education goes to.

본 연구는 국가수준의 보육과정을 실천하는 교사와 국가수준의 보육과정 뿐만 아니라 발도르프교사 교육을 경험한 교사를 대상으로 신체접촉에 대한 인식과 실천방법 및 요구를 분석하여 신체접촉을 활 용한 교육의 질적 개선 방안을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 대전 충남지역에서 근무하는 보육 교사 각 3명씩 6명을 대상으로 심층면담을 실시하였고, 수집한 자료를 질적 연구방법인 귀납적 내용분 석 방법을 통해 분석한 결과 연구문제와 관련된 5개의 주제와 11개의 부주제를 도출하였다. 이는 (1) 신체접촉에 담긴 생각들, (2)신체접촉에 더하기, (3)신체접촉을 통한 변화, (4)신체접촉의 장벽, (5)신체 접촉의 질적 개선을 위한 지원과 같은 주제 등으로 나타났다. 모든 교사가 신체접촉에 대해 중요하다 고 인식하였으며 접촉을 통한 아이의 변화를 경험하였다. 하지만 발도르프교육을 경험한 교사들은 신 체접촉이라는 것이 교사가 영유아를 향한 진정성이 담긴 특별한 행위라고 하였으며, 신체접촉의 장벽 은 교사 스스로의 마음가짐이라고 하였다. 그 만큼 질적으로 중요하게 생각하였으며 실천방법도 연구 를 통해 지속적으로 개발하고 있는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 보육교사의 신체접촉과 관련된 교사교육과정 지원이 지향되어야 할 바를 논의하였다.
