The functions of discourse markers are structuring and guiding comprehension of discourse, so it must be at the level of discourse, not sentence, that can we analyze them to the most. As for the Chinese frame-slot discourse markers, they have idiosyncracies in comparison to the fixed ones as well as same basic features of all discourse markers. And this paper deals with the textual functions of Chinese frame-slot discourse markers. They can be divided into two types in terms with their dependency: independent ones and grouped ones. The focus is played on how they structure discourses. And by doing so, we can understand the discourse markers systematically and wholly. As to contrastive study between Chinese and Korean, we first compare the Chineseexceptional frame-slot discourse markers and their counterpart ones in Korean, then the Korean frame-slot discourse markers ‘yo’, ‘mariya’, as regarded here, in detail. We aims to deepen the cognition of the discourse markers and help to improve language teaching and acquisition study and Chinese, Korean learners, by wholly investigate the universals and specific characters of Chinese and Korean discourse markersin a cross-linguistic view.

담화표지어는 담화를 구성하고 담화의 이해를 돕는 역할을 하므로 문장 층위보다는 담화층위에서 그 연구가 이루어지는 것이 바람직하다. 중국어 담화표지어 중 광전식 담화표지어는담화표지어의 기본 특징을 갖추고 있으면서 고정된 형태의 다른 일반 담화표지어와는 형식적으로 구분되는 특수성을 띤다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 광전식 담화표지어의 텍스트 내에서 수행하는 기능에 대해서 분석하고 그 구성 조건에 따라 유형별로 분류한다. 하나의 텍스트에서사용되는 담화표지어 자립성 유무에 따라 자립형 광전식 담화표지어와 의존형 광전식 담화표지로 나누어 텍스트 안에서 이들이 각각 어떻게 유기적으로 연결되어 텍스트를 구성하는지에대해 살펴본다. 텍스트 안에서 담화표지어가 어떤 역할을 하고 있는지 구체적으로 살펴봄으로써 중국어 담화표지어에 대한 전체적인 이해를 돕고자 한다. 또한 한국어와 대조 연구에서는 중국어 광전식 담화표지어에 대응되는 한국어 표현 형식을 찾아내어 비교 분석한다. 이어서 한국어 광전식 담화표지어로 대표될 수 있는 ‘요’와 ‘말이야’에 대해 구체적으로 고찰하면서 중국어 광전식 담화표지어와의 공통점과 차이점을 규명하는 데 중점을 둔다. 양국 언어의 대조 분석을 통해 담화표지어에 대한 이해를 심화하고 나아가 두 언어 학습자들의 자연스러운 담화표지어 사용에 도움을 주고자 한다. 또한 중국어와 한국어 교수법에 있어서도 참고가 되길 기대한다.
