This paper is intended to examine the characteristics of time in the poetry from 1910s to 1920s focused on the implemented time in the poetry that is assumed to construct the world of poetry ontologically. In the poetry, the time has autonomous uniqueness, which is creative, so is the independent nature of time that varies with a fictional time order or rule. In addition, the time in the poetry shows a combination of past, present and future. The complexity of time forms a temporal horizon with the unique temporality existing in the poem. On the other hand, the time in the poetry has the temporality of specific character, which is fundamentally involved from the formation of the time in the poetry. In the poetry of early modern in the 1910s, the modern self emerged, and the time in the poetry shows the notion of time and the temporality by time consciousness in the modern time, evolving into creative and subjective time. In the poetry in the 1920s, time has come to relate to reality. at the same time it shows the fictional time consciousness created by imagination. It can be said that the time in the poetry is realistic in that it exists autonomously in the poetry, but it appears in many different aspects depending on the periodic and social environment. The time in the poetry is different from the actual time, but it is the implemented in the poetry according to the periodic and social environment.

본고는 시에 ‘구현된 시간’ 자체에 주목하여 그것이 시라는 세계를 존재론적으로 구축한다고 보고 이때 시간이 어떠한 특성을 갖는지를 1910년대에서 1920년대까지의 시를 중심으로살펴보았다. 시에서 시간은 자율적 고유성을 갖는데 그것은 창조적인 것으로 허구의 시간 질서나 법칙에 가변적으로 부합하는 독립적인 시간의 성격이다. 또한 시의 시간은 과거나 미래, 또는 두가지 모두가 현재를 중심으로 겹쳐져 나타나는 복합적 양상을 보인다. 이러한 시간의 복합성은 시에 상존하는 고유한 시간성으로 시간적 지평을 형성한다. 한편 시의 시간은 특정한 성격의 시간성을 갖는데 이 시간성은 시의 시간 형성 단계부터 근원적으로 개입되어 있다. 1910년대 근대 초기의 시에서는 근대적 자아가 출현하면서 시의 시간은 근대의 시간관념과 시간의식에 의한 시간성을 보이며 창조적이고 주체적인 시간으로 전개되었다. 1920년대의시에서 시간은 현실과 관계를 맺으면서도 상상에 의해 창조된 가상적 시간성을 보이고 있다. 시의 시간은 시에서 자율적으로 존재하면서도 시대적, 사회적 환경에 의해 여러 다른 양상으로 나타난다는 점에서 현실성을 갖는다고 할 수 있다. 시의 시간은 현실의 시간과 다르지만시대적, 사회적 환경에 따라 시에 구현된 현실적 실재인 것이다.
