This paper investigates the relationship between the environmental policy through emission reduction and the economic growth using three different models (Green Solow Model, Stokey Model, and Aghion-Howitt Model), theoretically. Differently from the previous studies assuming the labor augmenting technology progress, we revise the models imposing the specific assumption of which the policy for emission reduction effects positively on overall TFP (total factor productivity). Consequently, the revise models all show that it is possible for the environmental effort or policy to expand economics growth or to put off slowdown of economic growth.

본 논문에서는 환경정책에 따른 오염배출 감축활동과 경제성장(또는 총기술진보율) 간의 관계를 통해 지속가능 녹색성장 모형을 이론적으로 연구하였다. 우선 모형설정 시 오염배출 감축방식에 있어 상이한 세 가지 모형(Green Solow 모형, Stokey 모형, Aghion-Howitt 모형)을 각기 소개하고, 오염배출 감축활동의 총기술진보율과 오염배출집약도 감소에 미치는 효과를 고려하여 상기 모형들을 수정하여 제시하였다. 결과적으로 환경정책으로 인한 오염배출 감축활동이 총기술진보율에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 수정이론모형의 경우, 환경정책의 추진에도 불구하고 경제성장률 둔화의 완화 또는 경제성장률의 확대가 가능한 것으로 나타났다.
