The study analyzed the reflection of artist's consciousness that responded to the period by conducting a psychoanalysis of the desire structure in Cha Bum-seok’ ｢A crane must be love｣. Cha’s personal experience of watching the Gwangju democratization movement in 1980 is manifested in the Imaginary, the Symbolic, the Real desires that are not filled in drama. The male behavior that repeats to exist as a desiring subject is explained by Fort-da play, which reflects male anxiety. The women of ‘the objet petit a’, who existed as mirrors and symptoms of men, are upgraded to the existence of sublime after entering the Jouissance through pure drive. At this time, non-realistic stage space, dance, and mask are used as effects to contribute to the sublime manifestation. This play is characterized by the coexistence of the insanity and the sublime of sublime as an impulse beyond the limit. The writer who stuck to realism showed the transformation of dramaturgy, and the task of capturing and psychologically approaching the spot will be effective in grasping the psychological prototype of artist consciousness.

본고는 차범석 희곡 ｢학이여 사랑일레라｣에 나타난 욕망 구조를 정신 분석적 관점으로 고찰하여 시대에 반응한 작가의식을 규명하였다. 80년도 5.18 민주화 운동을 관망한 작가의 개인적 경험은 작품 속에서 채워지지 않는 상상계, 상징계, 실재계의 욕망으로 발현된다. 욕망하는 주체로 존재 하며 반복하는 남성의 행동은 포르트 다(Fort-da)놀이로 설명되고, 이는 곧 남성의 불안 의식을 반영한다. 남성의 거울이자 증상으로 존재하던 ‘대상 a’의 여성들은 순수한 충동을 통해 주이상스에 진입 후 숭고의 존재로 격 상된다. 이때 비사실적인 무대 공간이나 무용, 가면 등 탈 이성적인 극장 치가 숭고 발현에 기여하는 효과로 활용되고 있다. 이 작품은 한계를 넘 어서는 충동으로 광기와 숭고의 양자성이 병존하는 특징이 나타난다. 사 실주의를 고수하던 작가가 극작술의 변모를 보였고, 그 지점을 포착해 정 신분석적으로 접근하는 작업은 작가의식의 심리적 원형을 파악하는데 유 효할 것이다.
