We summarize the relevant theories of de-globalization, including anti-neoliberalism, anti-marginalization theory, nationalism theories, the theory of “comparative advantage trap”, trade protectionism and so on. We hold that the development of de-globalization has gone through five stages, and now it is in the period of de-globalization policies’ impact. De-globalization was mainly caused by economic reason, national politics, nation states and cultures, development of science and technology. China has made tremendous contributions to globalization. Not only Chinese huge international trade, foreign direct investment and outward direct investment have promoted globalization, but also Chinese foreign students’ education and China’s huge outbound tourism market have promoted cultural exchange between countries. In the new situation, China takes measures to further promote globalization, mainly including: calling to firmly promote globalization, implementation of the “the Belt and Road” Initiative, promoting regional economic cooperation and maintaining the authority of international political organization (United Nations) and international economic organizations (the World Bank, International Monetary Foundation, World Trade Organization, and so on).
