The thesis is to assess the view of art in the framework of the fourth industrial revolution. First of all, the study viewed the meaning of the fourth industrial revolution as a turning point for work and technology, and focused on changing the concept of the economy, the need for new economic forms, such as shared economies and basic income, to replace the capitalist order. Thus, we set the key issues in how technology will shape a new society, and how humans will contribute to the change and formation. In this context, we explored how art changed the concept of art, changed the context of creativity, changed the context of creation and sought new economic order. To this end, the art of coping with technological changes has been divided into the era of mechanical age and mass media, digital age, and AI. In art, technology was viewed as a technological reproduction against the unity of art work. In fact, by utilizing technical reproduction in the art we examine that the artists tried to expand the scope of communication in the art and access to larger of people, thereby create a new society. As a result, artists as a producer, artist-engineer, bricoleur, artist as a software developer will attempt to re-evaluate the values of human centered through social changes and techniques to create human centered values. Unlike the previous era, the art of AI era make the art completely change the way of creation and distribution of art works, so we look at the new issue of art in this regard. Thus, the conceptual nature of the arts will be emphasized and will lead to creative data accumulation based on human understanding of the technology. Strategies for the expansion of accessibility to the arts as a information goods will be presented and finally we propose the challenges for an artist's role embracing the existence of Artificial Intelligence artists.

본 논문은 4차 산업혁명의 구도 속에서 예술의 전망을 가늠하기 위한 것이다. 먼저 4차 산업혁명의 의미를 일과 기술에 대한 관점을 바꾸게 되는 계기로 보고, 기계론적 일과 노동의 개념을 바꾸면서 공유경제 등의 새로운 경제 형태와 기본소득제의 요구가 자본주의적 질서를 대체하는 변화에 주목하였다. 이에 따라 기술이 어떻게 새로운 사회 를 만들어갈 것인지, 그리고 인간이 주도적으로 그 변화와 형성에 기여할 것인지를 주요 쟁점을 설정하였다. 이러한 구도 속에서 예술이 어떻게 기술에 대응하면서 예술 개념을 바꾸고, 창작과 배급의 맥락을 바꾸었는지, 그 리고 새로운 경제 질서를 추구하였는지를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 예술이 그간 기술 변화에 대응하였던 양상을 기계 시대와 대중매체 시대, 디지털 시대, AI 시대로 나누어 보았다. 예술에서 기술은 예술작품의 일품성에 반하는 기술복 제로 보고, 실제로 기술복제를 예술적으로 활용함으로써 예술에서의 소통의 문제를 확산하고, 그에 따라 많은 대중과 만나며, 그로 인해 새로운 사회를 만들어가는 데 주요 역할을 한 흐름을 살펴본다. 이에 따라 생산자로서의 예술가, 예술가-엔지니어, 조립공, 소프트웨어 개발자로서의 예술가 등의 개념 변화가 실 제로 사회 변화와 기술을 통한 인간 중심의 가치를 만들어가려는 시도와 성과로서 재평가하고자 한다. 또한 AI 시대 의 예술은 이전의 시대와 달리 예술의 창작 방식과 유통방식이 전적으로 달라진 만큼, 예술에 부과된 새로운 이슈를 살펴보고자 한다. 즉 예술의 개념적 성격이 더욱 강조될 것이고, 기술에 대한 인간중심적 이해를 토대로 창의적 데이 터 축적을 주도할 것이며, 정보재로서의 예술 성과물이 가져오는 접근성의 확대에 따른 전략이 제시될 것이며, 인공 지능 예술가의 존재를 적극적으로 받아들이면서 예술가의 역할을 새롭게 규정하는 과제 등을 제시한다.
