This study aimed to explore the factors that affected subjective well-being in terms of job variables, acculturation and social capital among immigrant workers. In particularly, it aimed to explore how the sociodemographic characteristics, job variables, acculturation and social capital affect subjective well-being among immigrant workers. The sample were 291 immigrant workers in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. Frequency, T-test, Annova, correlation and multiple regression were used to analysis the data. The study results show that male, non Korean heritage, increased income level, age from 30th to 40th had high level of subjective wellbeing. Also, monthly income, general acculturation, perceived social capital of social cohesion and integration were significant predictors for subjective well-being. Based on this result, it suggests the methods of institutional, administrative and practical intervening in social welfare to enhance the subjective well-being of immigrant worker.

본 연구는 이주노동자의 주관적 안녕감에 영향을 미치는 요인을 직장요인, 문화적응요인, 사회자본요인을 통해 탐색하였다. 이를 위해 서울, 경기도에서 일하고 있는 이주노동자 291명 대상으로 수집한 설문자료를 이용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계, 평균비교, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구는 이주노동자의 인구학적 특성에 따른 주관적 안녕감의 차이를 분석하고자 하였다. 또한 이주노동자들의 직장변수, 문화적응, 사회자본이 주관적 안녕감에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하고자 하였다. 연구결과, 남성일수록, 가계소득이 높을수록, 30-40대 일수록, 비한국계일수록 주관적 안녕감 수준은 높은 것으로 확인 되었다. 또한 월 급여 수준, 일반문화적응, 지각된 사회자본인 사회적 결속과 통합만이 이주노동자의 주관적 안녕감에 통계적으로 유의한 영향력을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 이 연구 결과를 통하여 한국에 거주하는 이주노동자의 주관적 안녕감 수준의 향상을 위한 사회복지 실천적 함의와 정책적 함의에 대한 제언을 하였다.
