This study focuses on the quantitative changes in regional and temporal patterns in the ironware structure as burial goods found in the tombs from Proto-Three-Kingdoms to the Baekje Hanseong period in the Han River/Geum River Basin. Changes in the ironware as burial goods during this period take place over five stages, and they differ by region. Generally, there is greater amount of agricultural and manufacturing tools, due to the concentration of agricultural production in accordance with the influence of Baekje government. The regions with high quantity of weaponry imply a large number of war participation groups in the process of political changes from the Proto-Three-Kingdoms to the Baekje period. Harnessry and iron chisels are discovered in limited cases. Harnessry increases in the late 4th century based on the changes in the military system; iron chisels are thought to be associated with ironware production groups. Although there are regional and temporal differences in the characteristics of the burial ironware, the basic burial patterns are maintained. Changes in the burial patterns are observed depending on the burial types, and there is a tendency of the valuation when compared with the Yeongnam region. The Han River/Geum River Basin covered in this article corresponds to the highlands of Mahan and Baekje, and is the place where the changes in the political structure and the changes in the burial patterns co-occur. In other words, the development of technology and forms of ironware have accompanied the social changes reflecting different periods.

본고는 한강·금강유역 원삼국~백제 한성기까지 분묘에서 확인되는 철기의 부장양상의 변화와 지역별 특징 파악을 위해 지역별·시기별 양적 변화양상에 초점을 두고 연구를 진행하였다. 이 시기 부장철기의 변화상은 총 5기에 걸쳐 이루어지며, 이는 지역별로 다르게 나타나는 양상을 보인다. 일반적으로 농·공구류의 부장량이 높게 나타나는데, 이와 같은 결과는 원삼국에서 백제화되는 영향에 따라 농업 생산이 집중되었던 것으로 판단된다. 일부 무기류의 출토량이 높은 지역은 원삼국에서 백제로 정치체의 변화과정 속에서 전쟁참여 집단이 다수 존재했다는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 한편 마구류와 철정과 같은 경우는 특정지역에서만 한정되어 출토되는 경향을 보인다. 마구류와 같은 경우는 군사체계의 변화를 기반으로 4세기 후반부터 급증하며, 철정은 철생산 관련 집단과 연관성이 있는 것으로 판단된다. 부장철기의 특징으로는 지역별·시기별 차이는 있지만 기본적인 부장패턴은 유지하고 있다. 한편 묘제에 따라 부장패턴의 변화상이 관찰되며, 영남지역과 비교할 때 박장화의 경향이 관찰된다. 본고에서 대상이 되는 한강·금강유역은 마한과 백제의 고지에 해당하며, 정치체의 변화에 따른 부장양상과 형태적 변화상이 활발히 이루어진 곳이다. 즉 시기성을 반영한 사회적 변화상과 함께 철기의 제작기술 및 형태의 발전이 이루어졌다고 할 수 있다
