This study aimed to examine the effects of sports massage on the treatment of neuromuscular cervical disease after traction. For assessment, massage treatment after traction was applied. The traction weight was less than 10 kg and the traction time was 15 minutes in a seated position. As for the sports massage techniques including rolling method, side-rebound method, and pressing after stretching backwards were implemented. According to the results of the study, applying massage after traction alleviated nerve compression, with a healing rate of 50% among 36 patients and a total effective rate of 92.3%. In conclusion, the application of massage after traction was considered as one of the best method of treating neuromuscular cervical vertebrae disease.

이 연구의 목적은 견인 후 스포츠마사지 기법이 신경근성 경추병 치료에 미치는 효과를 규명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구방법은 먼저 견인한 후 마사지하는 방법을 적용하였는데 견인중량은 10kg이내이고 견인시간은 15분 좌위며 스포츠 마사지 기법에는 회전법. 옆으로 반동하는 기법, 뒤로 폈다가 누르는 기법을 적용하였다. 연구결과 견인 후 마사 지하는 기법은 신경압박을 완화하며 36명의 환자 중 치유율은 50% 나타났으며 총유효율은 92.3%로 나타났다. 결론적 으로 견인 후 마사지 기법의 적용은 신경근성 경추병을 치료하는 좋은 방법 중의 하나로 분석되었다.
