The purpose of this study is to deeply analyze and clarify the aspects of the professional caddie about the life goal and future made by the professional caddie through experiences from the jobs as a golf player and professional caddie. A qualitative research was conducted on 7 people, who experiences as a golf player and professional caddie, and in-depth interviews were performed from Jun. 1, 2016 up to Nov. 30, 2016 for around six months. The data collected was used for case record and individual general profiles, and the inductive scope analysis method was used for analysis to examine the composition of their life. The summary of the results of the research analysis and interpretation is as follows. It was found as the recognition, life and goal, and prospect through the good and weak points of the professional caddie. As a result, the professional caddie illuminates the life maintenance method as well as the entrance as the professional caddie in order to have the goal of the golf player or make up for the economic insufficiency, and even though they are proud of the experiences with players through games, but the main job of the roles as a professional caddie is currently found unsatisfactory.

본 연구는 골프선수와 프로캐디 양면의 일을 통한 경험으로 삶 목표와 장래에 대해 프로캐디가 만들어 내는 양상 들을 심층적으로 분석하고 그 의미를 찾는 것이 목적이다. 골프선수와 프로캐디를 경험하고 있는 7명을 대상으로 질적 연구를 실행하였으며, 2016년 6월 1일부터 11월 30일까지 약 6개월에 걸쳐서 심층면접을 하였다. 수집된 자료는 사례 기록(Case Record)과 개인별 종합 프로파일(Profile)을 작성 후, 귀납적 범주 분석방법을 이용하여 분석하여, 이를 통 해 어떻게 자기 삶의 방식을 구성하며 나아가는지에 대해 알아보았으며, 본 연구의 분석 및 해석한 결과를 요약한다면 다음과 같다. 프로캐디에 대한 인식, 프로캐디의 생활과 목표, 프로캐디의 장단점을 통한 장래성으로 나타났다. 그 결과 프로캐디들은 골프선수의 목표를 가지거나 경제적인 부족함을 채우고자 프로캐디의 입문과 삶의 유지 방식을 조명하였 으며, 선수와 함께 시합하여 겪은 경험에 대해 자부심을 가지고 있지만, 프로캐디의 역할을 수행하는 주된 직업으로써 현재는 부족함이 있다고 나타났다.
