The purpose of this study is to analyze the agglomeration distribution ofrestaurants in the administrative districts of Seoul and to analyze the influencerelationship of the restaurant industry on agglomeration. For this purpose, social andeconomic characteristics affecting the restaurant industry accumulation were set andanalyzed based on previous studies. Through hot-spot analysis, we derived integratedareas with spatial autocorrelation with the surrounding areas. In addition, we analyzedthe influence of the factors set through the GWR model on the restaurant industryaccumulation by the administrative district in Seoul. As a result of this study, it wasfound that the size of the business, the competition level of the restaurant industry, andthe diversity of the industry in common have similar effects in most areas. However, thenumber of catering establishments, floating population, and population density confirmedthat the impact on aggregation is different depending on geographical location. Accordingly, the policy implications were derived by dividing them into five types ofaccumulation. In addition, based on analysis of causes and factors related to theagglomeration of restaurants, it is able to provide basic data necessary for contributionto the effectiveness of the commercial revitalization policies of the local governments inSeoul.

본 연구의 목적은 음식점업이 가장 많이 분포하고 있는 서울시 행정동을 대상으로. 집적분포를 파악하고 음식점업이 집적하는데 미치는 영향관계를 분석하는 것이다. 미시적인 가로에 대한 집적이 아닌 주변지역과의 관계를 고려하여 음식점업의 집중정도를 집적이라 정의하고 연구하였다. 이를 위해, 공간자기상관을 고려하는 Hot-Spot Analysis기능을 활용해 음식점업의 집적지역을 도출하였다. 또한, 선행연구 결과를 바탕으로 음식점 입지에 영향을 미쳤던 변수를 근거로 집적경제효과와 인구특성의 지표를 변수로 설정하였고, 지리가중회귀모형을 통해 분석하였다. 이 연구의 결과로 서울시 전체적인 영향관계는 음식업 사업체 수, 음식접 경쟁수준, 사업체 평균 종사자 수, 유동인구 수, 인구밀도의 경우 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 있고, 산업의 다양성과 종사자 밀도는 부(-)의 영향을 미치고 있다. 하지만 주변지역의 특성을 반영한 각 행정동별 영향관계는 음식점업의 사업체 수, 유동인구, 인구밀도 등의 변수가 주변지역의 지역적 특성에 따라 집적에 미치는 영향관계가 다른 것을 확인했다. 이에 따라 서울시의 음식점업 집적지역에 미치는 영향관계에 따라 5가지 유형으로 구분하여 정책적시사점을 도출했다. 또한, 음식점업의 집적과 관련하여 원인과 요인의 분석을 바탕으로 서울시 각 기초자치단체의 상권활성화정책 실효성에 기여하는데 필요한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있다.
