This paper is a study on the historical transition and application of the drama acting and medium acting based on the change of media due to the change of the age. According to the change of media, acting can be divided into camera acting and stage acting, so that the act can be planned and expressed in various forms and expressions. Actually, however, the nature of acting does not change and maintains its original nature. In this paper, we examine the origins and changes of the theater performances, that is, the stage performances and the camera performances. Based on these diverse considerations, we can explore the direction and development of current Korean acting. Through this paper, it is thought that the actors who can study the acting of the medium in accordance with the media characteristics in various ways and methods should be trained to the actors who study in depth in acting.

본 논문은 시대의 변화에 따른 미디어의 변화를 토대로 한 연극연기와 매체연기의 역사적 변천과 활용방안에 대한 연구이다. 연기는 미디어의 변화에 따라 카메라 연기와 무대 연기로 나누어 다양한 양식과 표현방식으로 연기를 계획하고, 이를 표현할 수 있으나, 사실상 연기의 본질은 변하지 않고, 본래의 성질대로 그 명맥을 유지하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 연극연기 즉 무대 연기와 카메라 연기라고 할 수 있는 매체연기에 대해 그 기원과 변천을 알아보고, 한국연기의 변천과 현주소를 알 수 있다. 이러한 다양한 고찰을 토대로, 현재의 한국연기의 방향과 발전 방안을 모색해 볼 수 있다. 본 논문을 통해, 연기에 있어 심도있게 연구하는 후학들에게 다양한 방식과 방법으로 매체적 특성에 따른 매체연기, 무대연기를 전체적으로 아우를 수 있는 연기자를 양성해야 할 것으로 사료된다.
