The purpose of this paper is to analyze Grimm Brothers' focusing on its story line, symbolism of environment and characters in depth from the perspective of analytical psychology and to explore the implications in art therapy. The method of the research is based on the typical understanding from the analytical psychology and also and also on the narrative analysis focusing the functionality and peculiar description of a specific work. This paper analyze the unique environment and materials the . Then, this paper suggests, as seen in the analysis of the story, the necessity of analysis which consider together typical analysis and peculiar description. The art-therapy need close examination about the peculiar environments, Sitz im Leben (the situation of the life), the composition and story line with material and colors which the client describes in accordance with the typical analysis from the analytical psychology.

본 논문에서 고찰하고자 하는 대상은 그림 형제의 민담 <작은 빨강모자>(Little Red Hood)이다. 본 논문의 목적은 <작은 빨강모자>의 이야기 전개 및 환경과 등장인물의 상징성을 분석심리학적 관점에서 심층 분석하고 예술치료에서의 함의를 탐문하는 것이다. 연구방법은 분석심리학에서의 전형적 이해를 바탕으로 하면서 동시에 특정한 작품의 독자성과 세부적 묘사의 기능성을 내러티브를 따라가며 분석하는 것이다. 본 논문은 <작은 빨강모자>에 대한 “전형적 해석”과 독특성을 이야기의 구성, 환경, 그리고 재료에 대한 심층 분석을 시도하였다. 그 결과를 통해 예술치료에 있어서 내담자의 구체적인 가정의 구성, 삶의 자리(Sitz im Leben), 그리고 내담자가 그려내는 이야기의 조직과 구성, 색과 재료의 조화, 그리고 그것들 의 내포적 상징성 등을 면밀히 분석하였다. 그리고 “전형”과 내러티브의 “독자성”을 함께 고려한 분석과 치료의 필요성을 제시하였다.
