The purpose of this study was to measure and evaluate the indoor air quality of kindergartens in Suwon-si. In this study, 111 of kindergartens in Suwon-si were selected, and 5 indoor air pollutants, namely particulate matters, carbon monoxide, formaldehyde, carbon dioxide and bioaerosol including temperature and humidity were measured. The total average of PM10 was 61.8 μg/m3 with maximum 151 μg/m3 and minimum 10 μg/m3, and 3 facilities showed levels over the guideline which is 100 μg/m3. In case of carbon monoxide and formaldehyde, they showed 0.6 ppm and 5.5 μg/m3 of average concentration, respectively, and every facility was qualified with the guideline. Average concentration of carbon dioxide was 695 ppm. However, 14 facilities showed higher result than the guideline which is 1,000 ppm. Lastly, average bioaerosol concentration was 513.1 CFU/m3 with maxiumu 1190.6 CFU/m3 and minimum 32.9 CFU/m3, and 17 facilities were showing higher concentration than the guideline which is 800 CFU/m3. Both Carbon dioxide concentration and bioaerosol concentration were proportionally connected on the high level zone of bioaerosol (over 700 CFU/m3), which means controlling indoor carbon dioxide concentration can lead indoor bioaerosol level to decrease in summer season.

본 연구는 수원시 내 유치원 111개 시설의 실내공기질을 측정한 결과로 환경부 실내공기질관리법에서 유지기준으로 관리하고있는 5가지 항목 즉, 미세먼지, 일산화탄소, 폼알데하이드, 이산화탄소, 부유세균에 대한 측정결과이다. 미세먼 지는 3개 시설이 초과하였고, 기준치 내의 측정치를 보인 항목은 일산화탄소와 폼알데하이드였으며, 각각 0.6 ppm과 5.5 μg/m3의 평균치를 보였다. 이산화탄소의 경우에는 14개 시설이 기준치인 1,000 ppm을 초과하였고, 부유세균 측정결 과로는 17개 시설이 초과하였다. 5가지 항목 중 이산화탄소와 부유세균이 높게 측정된 시설을 대상으로보면, 농도 증가 추세가 대부분 비례적으로 상관관계가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 환기의 척도인 이산화탄소 농도 조절을 통해 실내 부유 세균 수치를 줄여 실내에서 생활하는 어린이들의 건강위해성을 줄여야 할 것이다.
