There is the necessity to consider two elements; enhancements and utilization of Confucian values to develope content(and availability) of Confucian culture resource in Daejeon. The Content of Confucian Culture developed with using Hangyo and Seowon must be designed for the direction to heighten enhancements and utilization of the humanities value of Hangyo and Seowon in Daejeon. Making the Content of Confucian Culture means to make modern programs(to create a field) to share the spirit and ideals of the Confucian and Mencius. The Confucianists in Korea, especially Chungcheong and Daejeon area, regarded the humanistic spirit of Confucian and spirit of the rule of right of Mencius as a field of study, and they were trying to realize an ideal socity of the above. Therefore, the Confucian cultural content development must be created to realize the value of human happiness and culture of peace based on human dignity, and must be contributed the needs to improve contemporary life. The noted Confucian Scholars holding sacrificial rite in Sewon in Daejeon are the Humanities big value. In other words, They leaved remarkable achievements in the development of the Confucian Philosophy(Dohak), or they were the noble men to patriotic loyalty Confucian's life and study in Daejeon. Korean confucianism was devoted an overall study about Neo-Confucianism, Ritual(禮)-thought and theory, and Righteousness thought and theory Philosophy. Content development of Confucian Culture with Seowon and Hangyo must have a original value of culture to improve the lives of human beings and should be developed to meet citizens's cultural needs. In conclusion, for the development of Content of Confucian Culture. Firstly, the use of an analog content should expand over the digital information and content. Secondly, the cultural content must be contributed to the publicity to improve the quality of general life over industrialization and the goods created. Thirdly, there is the emphasized necessity of efforts to organize and manage the manpower pool. The cultural content of Seowon and Hangyo should be developed to take advantage of the core value of Confucianism for making contemporary thinking and way of life better and better. such as mind-cultivating, improvement of human relationship, and leadership etc.

대전 유교문화자원을 콘텐츠화하고 활용하자면 유교 가치의 선양과 활용이라는 두 가 치 측면을 고려해야 한다. 향교ㆍ서원을 활용한 유교문화콘텐츠 개발은 대전지역 향교ㆍ 서원의 배향인물과 인문학적 가치를 선양하고 활용하는 것이다. 향교를 문화콘텐츠화 한 다면 공자와 맹자의 정신과 이상을 현대적으로 공유하는 장을 만들어 가는 일이다. 한국 유학, 특히 충청ㆍ대전 지역의 유학자들은 공자의 인본정신과 맹자의 왕도정신을 학문으 로 삼고 실현하려고 했다. 따라서 유교문화 콘텐츠 개발은 인간의 존엄성에 바탕을 둔 행 복과 평화라는 인류문화의 가치를 실현하고, 현대인의 생활 증진에 기여하는 차원에서 창출해야 한다. 대전지역 서원의 배향인물의 인문학적 가치는 우리나라 도학 발전에 업 적이 크거나 애국충절로 이름난 인물들이다. 이들 대전 유학자의 생애와 학문은 한국전 통 유학의 특성을 전반적으로 내포하고 있다. 한국유학은 성리학, 예학, 의리학과 체계적 인 연관성을 가지고 있다. 17세기 이후 도학의 정통주의 강화, 춘추 대의정신의 강화가 진 행되었고 대전유학자들은 이러한 일을 주도했다. 서원ㆍ향교의 문화콘텐츠 개발은 인간 의 삶을 향상하는 문화 본연의 가치를 가지고 있어야 하며, 시민의 문화적 요구에 부응하 는 차원에서 개발되어야 한다. 따라서 향교ㆍ서원 활용 유교문화콘텐츠 개발은 첫째, 디 지털화된 정보를 넘어 아날로그 콘텐츠로의 활용 영역을 확대해야 한다. 둘째, 문화콘텐 츠 개발은 산업화와 재화 창출을 넘어 우리들의 전반적인 삶의 질 향상이라는 공공성에 기여해야 한다. 셋째 인력풀을 조직하고 관리하는 노력이 필요하다. 서원ㆍ향교의 문화 콘텐츠 개발은 현대적 활용성과 공공성을 우선하며, 유교의 핵심 가치를 현대인의 사고 와 생활 방식으로 활용하기 위한 개발이 되어야 한다. 그러한 예로서 마음수양, 인간관계 개선, 리더십 등의 측면을 고려하여 콘텐츠를 개발하고 활용해야 한다.
