연구의 목적은 대나무의 고장 전라남도 담양군에서 열린 2015 담양 세계 대나무 박람회 개최에 따른 지역 발전 영향요인이 지역애착도와 개최지지 및 개최 속성에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 하였다. 연구를 수행하기 위하 여 가설을 설정 한 뒤 박람회장에 방문객을 대상으로 설문조사를 후 표본을 추출하여 설문조사를 통해 실증분석을 하였다. 박람회 개최로 인해 지역이 발전하고 향후에 관광객들이 다시 찾는 관광 융합 연구의 목적을 제시하고자 한다 . 지역 애착도는 환경요인과 사회요인에 영향을 미친 것으로 나타났고. 개최지지, 개최지속성은 환경요인가 사회요인이 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 경제요인, 환경요인 순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 개최지지가 지역애착도 요인에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결과적으로 박람회 개최에 따른 지역발전 영향요 인이 지역애착도와 개최지지 및 개최속성에 미치는 영향을 검증을 통해 향후 국내 지역박람회와 축제 평가에 관한 전략 모색에 기여할 수 있을 것이다.
