In this paper, the fundamental human desire and inclinations that did not change from the Warring States period to the current are investigated through the comparison beyond the boundaries of time and space. In other words, how we should behave today are researched comparing the view that the world is unity called Tianhe(天下) between the Warring States period and the present. To this end, in Chapter 2 relative change incurred by physics, expansion of cities in time and space was examined. In Chapter 3, 7 magnificent countries in the Warring States period and the present G7 are compared based on the development of transport and communications means. In chapter 4, the issue of unification and efficiency, unity and efficiency, such as character and institutions, and a unified methodology are examined on the basis of the comparison of 7 magnificent countries in the Warring States period and the present G7 concentrating on the current meaning. What this paper claims is different from that of the anarchists. We have put focus to human well-being rather than the government and the nation. For human well-being, a lot of things that was accepted by the lazy thinking should be reflected around us, and something more spacious, large and fundamental should be conspired. As a result, here and now are emphasized to see the things more objectively. This research will show history is worth more meaningful when adopted in today and the future.

본고에서는 시간과 공간의 경계를 넘어선 사고를 통하여 변하지 않는 인간의근본적 욕구와 그에 따른 성향을 고찰해 보려한다. 이러한 목적을 위해 방법적도구로서 戰國七雄과 現代의 G7을 비교하였다. 즉, 戰國時代 중국을 하나의 天 下로 본 것과 지금의 지구를 하나의 天下로 본 것을 비교하여, 戰國時代의 분열과 통일의 역사를 통해 오늘 우리의 모습을 성찰해 보고자 한다. 이를 위해 2장에서는 물리학·이동수단(도시의 확장)·연락수단(전화기의 발명)의 변화에서 발견된 시간과 공간의 상대적 변화를 알아보았다. 3장에서는 교통과 통신수단의 발달을 기초로 戰國七雄과 G7을 비교하였다. 4장에서는 戰國七 雄과 현대사회의 비교를 기초로 현재의 의미에 집중하여, 국가의 통일과 평화, 문자와 제도 등의 통일과 효율성, 가치의 문제, 실질적 변화에 대처한 준비, 통일방법론, 국가 존립에 대한 문제제기 등을 생각해 보았다. 본고에서의 주장은 무정부주의자의 주장과 다르다. 가장 큰 차이는 논의의 초점을 정부와 국가가 아닌 인간의 행복에 두고 있기 때문이다. 인간의 행복을 위해 우리를 둘러싼 많은 것들, 게으른 생각으로 비판 없이 수용해 버린 것들을 반성(reflection)해 보고, 보다 근본적인 무언가를 찾아야 할 것이라고 강조하고자했다. 이를 통해 우리가 사는 여기와 지금을 좀 더 객관적으로 보는 사고를 함양할 수 있을 것이라 기대한다. 이러할 때, 역사는 과거로서 가치가 있는 것이 아니라 오늘과 미래에 의미가 있는 것으로 존재함으로 가치가 있는 것임을 깨달을 수있을 것이다.
