This article examines spiritual education for the revitalizing church education. To expound upon this theme, aim and contents of church education, spirituality as a major cause for revitalizing church education, plan of spiritual education are discussed. This article is about the influence of spiritual education to church. The aim of this article is to suggest how to vitalize church education through transforming the present situations of Korean church weakened in spiritual education. Examining the spiritual situations of the local church and presenting the alternatives are necessary for revitalizing church education. Three types of church members are classified such as cognitive/affective axis, affective/active axis, and active/cognitive axis in this paper. Three types are discussed for planning spiritual education as stimulating active spirituality, cognitive spirituality and affective spirituality. Church needs to help church members having balanced and matured spirituality.

이 연구는 쇠퇴해가고 있는 우리나라 교회의 부흥의 단서를 교회교 육 활성화로 보고 이를 위한 구체적 내용으로 영성교육을 고찰하고자 한다. 이를 위해 먼저 교회교육 활성화의 필요성을 서술하고 교회교육 활성화의 관점에서 교회 교육의 목표와 내용을 서술한다. 교회교육 활 성화의 기초로서 영성을 논의하기 위해 영성의 개념, 영성의 세 측면, 영성과 관련된 세 그룹을 서술한다. 교회교육 활성화 방안으로서의 영 성교육의 개념과 영성의 관점에서 그리스도인을 세 그룹으로 분류한 다: 지적․정서적 그리스도인, 정서적․행동적 그리스도인, 인지적․행동적 그리스도인. 교회 성도들을 위한 영성교육의 방안은 그리스도인에 대 한 세 그룹에 따라서 행동적 영성의 강화, 지적 영성의 강화, 정서적 영 성의 강화를 논의한다. 이 연구는 교회교육 활성화를 위한 영성교육은 성도들의 영적 상태를 지정의(知情意) 측면에서 진단하여 그에 대한 보완책을 제시한다. 교회는 성도들의 영성이 균형 있게 성숙하고 조화 시키려고 노력하는 과정에 교회교육이 활성화 될 수 있음을 제시한다.
