To study distribution and transport of Hakampo beach sediment in North of Taeanhaean National Park was used analysis of grain size and interpretation of sediment transport pathway, September 2015. Mean particle size of beach sediment showed 0.68~2.08Ø range with coarse sand and fine sand, poorly sorted to sediment size distribution. A sediment mainly showed inflows transport to the offshore, results with moderately well sorted and negative skewness sediment, due to continue constantly strong eastern wind speed before sampling periods. The best fitting transport pathway showed the trend vectors of finer, better sorted and more negatively skewed. These sediment transport may show erosion processes toward offshore result from transport to protected area. It is interpreted that beach sediments transport to offshore by strong longshore current in the study area.

태안해안 북부지역인 학암포에서 2015년 9월 해빈퇴적물의 분포특성과 이동양상을 파악하기 위해서 입도 조직과 퇴적물 이동경로를 분석하였다. 해빈퇴적물은 조립사(Coarse sand)에서 세립사(Fine sand)의 범위를 보이고, 평균입도는 0.68~2.08Ø 범위로 분급은 불량하였다. 퇴적물 조사 시기 이전에 동풍계열의 바람이 강하게 불면서 해 변의 퇴적물은 해안으로 이동하고 분급은 중간, 음성왜도를 갖는 해변퇴적물의 특성을 나타냈다. 퇴적물 이동경로에 서 상대적으로 퇴적물의 입도가 세립해지고 분급이 양호하며 왜도가 감소하는 지점으로 이동하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 퇴적물 이동은 다소 보호된 지역에 비해서 외안으로 개방된 해안으로 이동되는 침식양상이 우세하고, 관측 시기에 해양으로 유출되는 외력이 작용한 것으로 판단된다.
