In this paper, safe switch for various dangerous machine which is equipped with a blade such as grass cutter, has been studied. Simple safe switch mechanism is proposed and its prototype is designed and manufactured. Conventional safe switch mechanism needs more than 2 switches, and this leads increasing manufacturing cost and causes control mistake of users. Newly designed safe switch can be operated when upper button and lower button are pressed at the same time.

본 논문에서는 예초기 등과 같이 칼날을 쓰는 위험한 기계에 사용하는 안전한 스위치 구조에 대하여 살펴보고, 이를 바탕으로 간단한 구조이면서 안전한 작동을 보장하는 메커니즘을 제시하고 제품 설계를 하였다. 통상의 안전스위치는 두 개를 사용하여 안전을 유도하였으나 이로 인해 제조비용의 상승과 복 잡한 작동으로 사용자의 잘못된 조작이 빈번하였다. 새로 설계된 스위치는 상단부에 작동 버튼과 하단 부의 작동 버튼이 동시에 눌러져야만 손잡이 안에 내장된 스위치의 작동 버튼이 눌러져서 작동하게 된 다. 상단부 작동 버튼이 눌러지지 않은 상태에서 하단작동 버튼을 작동할 경우 내장된 스위치는 회전 운동만 하고 스위치의 작동 버튼은 눌러지지 않아 작동되지 않도록 하였다.
