The population structure of Korea is now changing. As a result, the Korean church is aging. In order for the Korean church to be endurable, it has to revive. The evangelism of preschoolers and kindergarteners is an alternative solution to recruit young people into church, so that they can do productive and active ministry in church. This study examines the bases of evangelism of preschoolers and kindergarteners in the S University Church. It also studies their reaction when evangelised. The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for the evangelism of preschoolers and kindergarteners which suits our changing society. This study adopts a qualitative study method, specifically a case study. The subjects of this study are the senior pastor, the pastor who is in charge of the department of preschoolers and kindergarteners, the head teacher, 10 teachers, the parents of the preschoolers and the kindergarteners of the S University Church. The author interviewed them, distributed questionnaires to the participants in the evangelism meetings, wrote a journal when evangelising children in parks. This study shows that the bases for the evangelism of preschoolers and kindergarteners in the S University Church are the evangelism meeting using drama performance, the summer bible school, the full mobilization Sunday, the feast events, and the park evangelism. These events lead a fair number of children into the S University Church. It also shows that these events make a good image of the SUC. People around the church think that the SUC is a good church which donate money for the children in the neighborhood. This naturally lead many children into the SUC, who used to attend church. It is a good motivation to re-obtain their faith. The reaction from the participants is very affirmative. During feast events, all the family members get together in the same chapel and worship God. They learn about God who still intervenes in human affairs, through various events which are connected with the meaning of the feasts. The full mobilization Sunday motivates the long-term absentees to come to church again. During the park evangelism the church distributes toys to children. Even though the children who received the toys do not come to church, God sends other children to the SUC, which is God’s grace. The remaining assignment for the SUC is to clearly understand the basic evangelism concepts, to set up the direction of the evangelism accordingly, to nurture the children who come to the SUC. This will add to the number of believers of the SUC.

우리나라 인구구조의 변화에 따라 고령화되어 가는 한국교회가 다음세대로 믿음이 이어지는 지속가능한 한국교회가 되기 위해서는 새로운 부흥기회를 찾아야 한다. 노령화되는 교회에 젊은 구성원이 유입되어 생산적이고 활동적 사역으로 하나님 나라를 계속적으로 확장하도록 하는 대안 중의 하나가 교회학교 영유치부의 전도이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 S대학교회 교회학교 영유치부 전도의 기점은 무엇이며, 영유치부 전도의 의미는 무엇인지를 살펴봄으로서 침체하고 있는 한국교회와 교회학교 영유치부 지도자들에게 시대에 맞는 영유치부 전도에 대한 기초자료를 제공하는데 본 연구의 목적이 있다. 연구방법은 질적 연구방법인 사례연구이며, 연구대상은 담임목사와 교회학교 영유치부 교역자와 10여명의 리더와 학부모 등이며, 자료수집은 이들을 대상으로 한 인터뷰와 전도집회 참석자들의 설문지 그리고 본 연구자의 공원전도에 대한 저널 등으로 자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, S대학교회 교회학교 영유치부의 전도의 기점은 연극공연을 통한 전도집회, 여름성경학교, 영유아총동원주일, 절기행사, 공원전도를 통해 지역사회 내 영유아가족을 끊임없이 초대하여 새로운 영유아가족들이 교회로 유입되었다. 둘째는 S대학교회 영유치부 전도의 의미는 지역사회 어린이에게 지원하는 좋은 교회로 이미지가 형성되었고, 전에 교회를 다녔던 영유아가족들이 쉽게 교회로 들어오는 기회가 되어 신앙을 되찾는 계기가 되었다. 앞으로의 과제는 새로운 영유아가족들이 구원에 이르도록 양육과 돌봄이 더해져 구원받는 가정이 날로 더해지는 S대학교회가 되도록 나아가야 한다.
