The main focus of the InMunDoSi Project is upon how to build a city with a face of humanistic identity. Here we have interests in the following questions: what is the InMunDoSi? Why do we need it? How can we construct it? Even though there is a consensus in the necessity of constructing InMunDoSi, it is not clear what we are going to direct toward. We seem to understand the demand of InMunDoSi, for the InMunDoSi is necessary in order to live humanistic lives. However, we don’t have a clear idea of what it is and how to approach it. The paper is organized as follows. In section two I shall examine the idea of InMunDoSi around the notion suggested by National Research Foundation of Korea. In section three I shall suggest a model by utilizing the analyzing tool of structure and content of a city and argue that it will be better to take a narrative approach for establishing InMunDoSi project, which can bridge over the structure and content of a city and its citizens. In section four I shall introduce the InMunDoSi project of Kangwon National University, “Chuncheon as the lakeside InMunhealing city”

인문도시지원사업의 초점은 어떻게 참다운 인문도시를 구성할 수 있는가에 있다. 그 목적을 달성하 기 위해서 우리는 인문도시란 무엇이고, 왜 그것이 필요한 지를 알아야 한다. 우리는 모두 인문도시를 구현하는 것이 필요하다는 점에 동의 하고 있지만 우리의 지향점이 정확히 무엇인지는 잘 모르고 있다. 인문도시가 정 확히 무엇인지, 어떻게 그것에 접근할 수 있는지에 대해서는 추가적인 논의가 필 요한 실정이다. 글의 전개 순서는 다음과 같다. 2절에서는 한국연구재단이 제시한 인문도시의 개념을 중심으로 현재 상황에서 우리에게 필요한 인문도시 개념을 검토한다. 3 절에서는 구조와 내용이라는 개념 쌍을 이용하여 인문도시에 대한 인문학적 모형을 구성하고, 이어서 구조와 내용, 시민을 적절하게 연결하는 방식으로서 내러 티브적 접근을 제안할 것이다. 4절에서는 2014년 강원대학교 인문과학연구소의 프로젝트인“춘천, 호반의 인문힐링도시”를 중심으로 춘천시의 지정학적·사회 문화적 구조를 간단히 살펴보고 이어서 그 내용에 해당하는 프로그램을 구체적 으로 제시할 것이다.
