The research at the Lee yuk-sa‘s poet for the purpose of this article. Lee yuk-sa‘s anti-Japanese movement for national independence is based on the Sun-Bi spirits. and the Confucian tradition has been studied in most studies of Lee yuk-sa‘s poet. 본고는 이육사 시의 연구를 통해서 새로운 이육사 연구의 관점을 정립하는 것을 목표로 한다. 그동안 육사의 시는 크게 두 가지 관점에서 연구되어 왔다. 첫째는 그의 지사적 면모와 시에 관한 연구이며 둘째는 안동지방을 바탕으로 한 양반문화 안에서 육사를 연구하는 것이었다. 이러한 연구들은 매우 큰 의 미를 가지고 있지만 아쉽게도 육사의 시에 나타나는 근대적 감각을 조명하는 데 다소간의 한계가 존재한다. 실제로 육사 삶의 행적을 되짚어 본다면 그가 단순히 유교 문화권의 전통 에 국한된 사유를 하지 않았음이 드러난다. 근대화 초기 격변하는 세계정세 안에서 육사가 고민했던 바는 유교적 전통과 세계적인 근대화 의식 사이에서 이루어진다. 그의 시편에서 드러나는 지사적 면모는 유교적 전통 가치관과 서양문물의 적절한 변증법적 사고 안에서 탄생한 것들이다. 이에 본고에서는 육사의 사상 적 변화 양상에 대해 고찰하고 그러한 사상적 변화가 어떠한 방식으로 육사의 시편에 적용되어 나타나는 지를 연구하고자 한다.
