This paper is aimed at understanding the meaning of literary tradition in "Naneun Ggomsuda(NaGgomsu)" phenomenon primarily by comparison with Romance of Three Kingdoms, a classical Chinese popular novel. By using modern standards (language arts, imagination, emotional function), Modern literary theory also tells us NaGgomsu is clear with a strong literary characteristics. But the political partisanship and narrative structure (characterized by a dramatic composition and faithful detail) of NaGgomsu is the biggest factors of success, and at the same time is the core of East Asian popular political rhetoric (well embodied in Romance of Three Kingdoms). In conclusion, NaGgomsu is our society's most popular political textbook (or propaganda), and is better understood in the context of popular politics and literature in the East Asian tradition.

본고는 "나는 꼼수다"(나꼼수) 현상의 문학적 의미를 주로 전통시기 중국 대중소설인 삼 국지연의와의 비교를 통해 고찰한다. 물론 근대 문학의 3대 요건인 "언어예술`상상력`정서 화 기능"에 비춰보아도 나꼼수가 강한 문학적 특성을 지닌 점은 분명히 드러난다. 그러나 삼국지연의의 가장 큰 특징이기도 한 내용적 당파성과 이에 복무하는 서사구조(극적 구성 과 충실한 디테일로 특징지어지는)이야말로 오늘날 나꼼수 성공의 가장 큰 요인이자, 나꼼 수가 계승하고 있는 동아시아 대중정치 수사학의 요체라고 볼 수 있다. 이에 비춰보면 나꼼수는 동아 시아 전통 시기의 대중 정치와 문학의 맥락에서 볼 때 더 잘 파악되는, 우리 사회의 대중 정치 교과서(또는 선동서)로 이해될 수 있다.
