Recently increasing the usage of mobile and web, the researches which are trying to draw a meaningful information and knowledge in numerous different ways by analyzing the log data recorded in our daily life are growing very fast. Many researchers have studied to explore the patterns and the meanings by visualizing the log data in multi-dimensional ways because the log data generated from a number of sensors mounted on the mobile device shall contains a temporal and spatial information. The goal of this study is searching a implication and exploring the researches related to both data mining and visualization that analyze the log data which has spatio-temporal information multi-dimensionally by research area and method.

최근 모바일과 웹 사용의 증가로 일상생활에서 기록되는 로그데이터를 다양하게 분석하여 의미있는 정 보와 지식을 이끌어내고자 하는 연구가 증가하고 있다. 웹과 모바일 기기로 부터 생성되는 로그데이터는 시공간적인 정보를 담고 있으며, 데이터를 다차원적으로 탐색 하고 시각화하여 기존에 분석하지 못했던 다양한 의미를 찾을 수 있음이 확인되고 있다. 본 연구에 서는 시간과 공간 정보를 가지고 있 는 로그데이터를 다차원적으로 탐색하고, 의미를 분석하는 데이터마이닝과 시공간 데이터를 시각화하 여 의미를 도출하고자 하는 시각 화 관련 연구들을 분야별, 연구방법별로 분석하여 연구동향을 살피고 의미를 찾고자 한다.
