This study chose Daldodaejeon(達道大全) by Sinchon Pil-su Hwang(愼村 黃泌秀), who was one of the book editor during late Josun, as a research target and understand bibliographic feature of Daldodaejeon and assured his stature. Fist book Pil-su Hwang compiled, Daldodaejeon, shows aspect of his ability and a representative statue as a professional book editor and writer in late Josun. Pil-su Hwang was considered just as a Confucian scholar rather than You-u(儒醫), a Confucian scholar and a doctor. Pil-su Hwang compiled Daldodaejeon in 1867 at age of 26, and wrote Chucksasull(斥邪說) to begin in earnest as a book compiler. Main purpose Pil-su Hwang wrote and compiled Chucksasull and Daldodaejeon was to advocate Confucianism. Daldodaejeon was influenced by his teacher Seung-woo Lee (李勝愚)’s book Songseobeacksun(宋書百選) which was to spread out Confucianism’s core lesson, Oryun(五倫). Daldodaejeon was published at 1873 by engraving on the wood block. Introduction of Daldodaejeon was written by Boo Seo(徐郙)(1838∼1907), variorum was organized by Jisoo Hwang(黃芝洙), proofread by Ki-yeon Kim(金耆淵) and Jonghyun Hwang(黃鍾顯) payed Miyangseorim(美陽書林) for the publication. Looking in to the format of Daldodaejeon, it was formatted with Pil-su Hwang’s own judgement instead of traditional way of Oryun’s naming and order. A supplement, ‘Aasull’(我我說) is considered as a comparable written work to the Chucksasull by Pil-su Hwang.

본고는 조선 후기의 儒醫인 愼村 黃泌秀의 편찬서 중 하나인 『達道大全』을 연구의 대상으로 선정하여 고찰함으로써 이 책이 갖고 있는 서지적 특징과 의미를 파악하고, 조선후기 중요한 도서편찬자로서의 황필수의 위상을 확인하고자 하는 목적으로 시도되었다. 『達道大全』은 황필수가 처음 편찬한 책으로서 그가 차후에 조선 후기를 대표하는 전문 도서편찬자이자 편찬가로서의 면모를 보여주는 업적으로 평가할 수 있다. 황필수는 儒醫라기보다는 유학자이며 26세인 1867년에 『達道大全』을 편찬하였고 『斥邪說』을 편찬하기도 하여 본격적으로 도서편찬자로서 활동하기 시작했다. 황필수가 『斥邪說』과 『達道大全』을 편찬한 목적은 『척사설』의 경우는 유학을 옹호하는데 중점이 있었고, 『달도대전』은 오륜을 중심으로 유학의 근본적인 교훈을 널리 펼치기 위한 것으로 스승 李勝愚가 정리한 『宋書百選』의 영향을 받았다. 『達道大全』은 청나라의 문장가이던 徐郙(1838∼1907)가 서문을 썼고 집주는 黃芝洙가 정리했으며 金耆淵이 교정하였고 黃鍾顯은 간행비를 부담하여 1873년 美陽書林에서 목판으로 판각․간행하였다. 『達道大全』의 체재를 살펴보면 황필수가 전통적으로 전해오는 오륜의 순서와 명칭을 사용하지 않고 독자적인 판단에 의해 편차를 정리하였다. 부록인 「我我說」은 황필수가 편찬한 『斥邪說』에 견줄 만한 단독 편찬으로서의 면모를 갖추고 있다.
