Since 2007, the Dong-A Ilbo has hosted a total of 46 events in 41 cities across the nation as of February 2016 by conducting ‘My Friends, Let's Play with Culture and Art!’, a culture and arts program for youth. From August 2011, when the 27th time has passed, they are moving away from the existing impression-based programs and transforming them into participatory programs where young people perform their own performances. The Dong-A Ilbo, the sponsor, evaluates that the programs set up a model of successful culture and arts program for youth and multicultural convergence education program which enabled the marginalized adolescents to recognize their roles as the main characters of their lives even on a limited stage. The Dong-A Ilbo will put more effort to the development of the program as a desirable model for participatory culture convergence education for youth in the future, and hopes that the model will be spread throughout the society and achieve desirable outcomes.

동아일보사는 2007년부터 청소년 문화예술교육 프로그램인 ‘친구야 문화예술 과 놀자!’를 실시하여 2016년 2월 현재 전국 41개 지역에서 총 46회의 행사를 개최하였다. 27회 째를 맞은 2011년 8월부터는 기존의 감상형 프로그램에서 탈 피하여 청소년들이 직접 공연을 꾸미는 참여형 프로그램으로 전환하여 진행하고 있다. 이 프로그램은 소외계층 청소년들이 한정된 무대 위에서나마 자기 삶의 주인 공으로 역할을 인식하고 적극적인 자세를 갖게 만듦으로써 인성의 바람직한 변화 를 모색할 수 있는, 성공적인 청소년 문화예술 교육프로그램이자 다문화 융합교 육 프로그램의 한 모델을 정립했다고 주최사인 동아일보사는 평가하고 있다. 동아일보사는 향후 바람직한 참여형 청소년 문화융합교육 모델로서 본 프로그 램의 육성 발전에 한층 노력을 쏟을 것이며 나아가 사회 전반을 통해 본 모델이 전파되어 성과를 거둘 것을 기대하고 있다.
