In this study, the damage status of cultural heritage and disasters was examined and the status of disaster prevention measures including laws, organizations and facilities related to the disaster prevention for cultural heritage was analyzed in this study for improvement in terms of disaster prevention for cultural heritage. Based on the results, the measures to establish private, public and academic cooperation system of disaster prevention for cultural heritage and reinforce the legislation basis were reviewed.

본 연구에서는 문화재 방재적 측면에서 민‧관‧학 협력체계를 구축하기 위해 문화재와 재난의 피해 현황을 알아보았고 문화재 방재 관련 법, 조직, 시설 등의 방재대책 현황을 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 문화재 방 재 특성에 맞는 민․관․학 협력체계 구축방안을 검토하였으며 이를 위한 법제기반 강화 방안을 제시하였다.
