This research investigated and analyzed the relations between sports participating forms and sociability development for university students who participate in sports activities volunteerly in university. To draw the relations between sports participating forms and sociability, questionnaires which were used in precedent researches were revised and supplemented for the purposes of research. The objective area of sample was divided into 4 areas such as Gangdong, Gangseo, Gangnam and Gangbuk based on Han River and selected by convenient sampling among the nonprobability samplings. Data was treated by SPSS 19.0 and AMOS 20.0. Main results of research are as follows. First, there were significant differences in conductive sports participating, sociability's activity, dominance, sociability and autonomousness. Second, there were significant differences in affective sports participation, sociability activity and sociability. Third, there was no difference in cognitive sports participation and sociability.

이 연구는 대학에서 자발적으로 스포츠 활동에 참여하고 있는 대학생들을 대상으로 스포츠 참가 형태와 사회성 발달과의 관련성을 조사․분석하여 도출하였다. 스포츠 참여 형태와 사회성의 관계를 도출하기 위해 선행연구에서 사용 되었던 설문지를 연구의 목적에 맞게 수정․보완 하여 사용하였다. 샘플대상 지역은 한강을 중심으로 강동․강서․강남․강북 4곳으로 나누어 비확률 표본추출방법 중 편의표본추출법으로 선정하였으며, 자료처리는 SPSS 19.0과 AMOS 20.0 프 로그램을 사용하였다. 연구의 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 행동적 스포츠참여와 사회성의 활동성, 지배성, 사교성, 자 율성에서 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 정의적 스포츠참여와 사회성의 활동성, 사교성에서 유의한 차이 가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 인지적 스포츠참여와 사회성에서는 모두 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다.
