The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between competency in inclusive physical education(IPE) and demographic characteristics such as gender, qualification, level of education, and career as a IPE teacher in general school physical education teacher or after-school physical education teacher. 455 physical education(PE) teachers or after-school physical education teacher participated in the study. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, there was a statistically significant correlation between professionalism, attitude, self-efficacy, status, and decision-making in this study. Second, between the different gender of physical director, the competency toward IPE was not statistically verified. However, male PE teacher's professionalism toward IPE was higher than female’s and female teacher’s attitude toward IPE was higher than male’s . Third, in qualification, among physical directors, regular PE teachers showed statistically higher competency toward IPE than after - school teachers’. Fourth, the relationship between level of education and career as a IPE teacher were statistically insignificant in this study.

본 연구는 일반체육교사 및 방과후체육교사 455명을 대상으로 통합체육 역량에 대해 인구사회학적 특성인 성별, 자격, 학력, 그리고 통합체육지도경력과의 관계를 분석 하였다. 분석에 따른 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 통합체육 역 량으로 본 연구에서 조사된 전문성, 태도, 자아효능감, 위상, 그리고 의사결정력은 정적인 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 남녀 체육지도자간 통합체육의 역량 차이는 통계적으로 검증되지 않았으나 통합체육에 대한 전문성은 남성 체육지도자 가 태도는 여성체육지도자가 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 체육지도자들중 정규체육교사가 방과 후 교사와 비교하여 통계적으 로 통합체육 역량이 높게 나타났다. 넷째, 학력과 통합체육 역량과의 관계 및 통합체육 지도경력과 통합체육 역량과의 관계는 본 연구에서 통계적으로 무의미하게 검사되었다. 본 연구를 통하여 제시된 교사의 통합체육 역량을 바탕으로 후 속연구에서는 체육교사 또는 체육지도자의 통합체육 역량에 따른 수업 참여 학생(장애학생 및 비장애학생)들의 수업 만족도를 비롯하여 체력 및 사회성 검사를 통한 과학적인 근거(evidence based practice)를 제시하는 연구가 필요하다.
