A Study on relationship between early childhood teacher's meaning in life and their teacher-efficacy

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relation between early childhood teachers' meaning in life and their teacher-efficacy in Gyeongju & Ulsan city. The data was collected by questionnaires method from 157 early childhood teachers. The instruments were early childhood teacher's meaning in life(Purpose In Life: PIL) and their teacher-efficacy. The results of the study were as follows : (1) early childhood teacher's meaning in life meaningfully related to their teacher-efficacy, positively. (2) early childhood teacher's meaning in life has influence on their teacher-efficacy. In summary, early childhood teacher's meaning in life has significant implication for teacher-efficacy. This research offers further study the influence variables to efficacy and find out the method to enhance early childhood teacher's meaning in life and efficacy.
