Today, one of serious problems confronted in the field of the Korean pulpit is that there are too many preaching numbers for preachers to preach. And another problem is that the faith of congregations is not growing although they hear many sermons. If so, how can these problems be solved? Of course, it seems to be difficult for preachers to lead congregations to the way of maturity of faith through preaching. However, if preachers learn the first how preaching that is suggested to overcome the problem of preaching number, they can be solved to some extent. Therefore the writing method of the first how preaching that seems to be necessary to the growth of faith is discussed throughout this study. And in order to give preachers a good understanding it is discussed as follows. Firstly, the first how preaching is introduced, so that preachers can see what it is. In other words, what is said is the content of the following: The first how preaching is one of the how preaching made up of two forms, the first how preaching and the second how preaching. This is a form of preaching that presents to the congregation a concrete way to reach the truth that God is speaking, a certain theme. This is essentially one of the sermon forms that constitute the fourth analytical preaching. And it is a proprietary development of the 'How' of the third analytical preaching. Then, we consider its recipe as dividing in two parts, that is, the basic preparation steps required prior to writing its manuscript, and the writing method of each part of the sermon, as follows. First, the preparation stage of the first how preaching consists of the same steps as the preparation steps of other sermon forms belonging to the fourth analytical preaching except for the last part. Therefore, here, only the final part 'Arranging data according to structure' of the preparation stage is considered. Then, the method of writing each part of the sermon is divided into three parts as follows. First, it is an introduction. This is divided into 'introductory approach' and 'theme rise'. Second, it is the main subject. Like the 'How' in the third analytical preaching, it consists of four parts, namely 'point of focus', 'proclamation', 'interpretation', and 'application'. Third, it is the conclusion. This is presented in two parts: a summary that summarizes the main content of the sermon into the Word of God, the Lord of the Word, and an application that simply applies the summarized content to the life of the congregation. And finally, an example of the actual sermon written according to the writing method of the first how preaching is presented. This actual sermon was actually proclaimed in early morning worship in spring 2016, and its theme is 'the righteousness of God'. And the text of this sermon is Matthew 6:31-33.

오늘날 한국교회의 설교자들이 직면한 문제점들 중 하나는 설교자가 감당해야 할 설교 횟수가 너무 많다는 것이다. 그리고 회중들은 많은 설교를 들음에도 신앙이 성장하지 않는다는 것이다. 그렇다면 설교자들은 어떻게 하면 설교를 통하여 성도들의 신앙을 바르게 성장시킬 수 있을까? 물론 설교자들이 설교를 통하여 성도들의 신앙을 성장시키는 것은 쉬운 일이 아니다. 하지만 만일 설교자들이 설교 횟수의 문제를 극복하기 위하여 제시된 제4의 분석설교들 중 하나인 제1방법설교를 충분히 익힐 수만 있다면 그것은 어느 정도 해결될 수 있다. 그러므로 본 소고는 제4의 분석설교 중에서 특별히 회중들의 신앙성장에 초점을 맞추어 고안된 제1방법설교의 작성방법을 고찰한다. 그리고 설교자들의 이해를 돕기 위하여 다음과 같은 순서로 작성방법을 제시한다. 먼저, 설교자들이 제1방법설교가 무엇인지 알 수 있도록 제1방법설교를 소개한다. 즉 다음의 내용을 말한다: 제1방법설교는 제1방법설교와 제2방법설교로 구성된 방법설교의 두 가지 형태 중 하나이다. 이것은 회중이 하나님께서 말씀하시는 진리 곧 어떤 주제에 도달할 수 있는 구체적인 방법을 제시하는 설교 형태이다. 이것은 본래 제4의 분석설교를 구성하는 설교 형태들 중 하나이며, 이것은 제3의 분석설교의 ‘주제의 실천 방안’(How)이 독자적으로 발전된 것이다그리고 이어서 제1방법설교의 작성방법을 원고를 작성하기에 앞서서 필요한 기본적인 준비 단계와 제1방법설교 각 부분의 작성방법으로 나누어 다음과 같이 고찰한다. 먼저, 제1방법설교의 준비단계는 마지막 부분만을 제외하고는 제4의 분석설교에 속한 다른 설교 형태들의 준비단계와 동일한 단계들로 구성되어 있음으로 여기서는 준비단계의 마지막 부분인 ‘구조에 맞추어 자료 배열’ 부분만을 간단히 살펴본다. 그리고 이어서 설교 각 부분의 작성방법을 다음과 같이 세 부분으로 나누어 제시한다. 먼저, 서론이다. 이것은 ‘서론적인 접근’과 ‘주제부상’으로 나누어 제시된다. 둘째, 본론이다. 본론은 제3의 분석설교의 ‘주제의 실천방안’과 마찬가지로 ‘주안점’, ‘선포’, ‘해석’, ‘적용’ 네 부분으로 구성되어 있음으로, 네 부분으로 나누어 각각 제시된다. 셋째, 결론이다. 이것은 설교의 주요 내용을 말씀의 주인이신 하나님의 말씀으로 요약하는 ‘요약’과 요약된 내용을 회중들의 삶에 간단하게 적용하는 ‘적용’, 두 부분으로 제시된다. 그리고 마지막으로 제1방법설교의 작성방법에 따라서 작성된 실제 설교의 예가 제시된다. 이 실제 설교는 2016년 봄 한 새벽예배에서 실제로 선포된 것이며, 그것의 주제는 ‘하나님의 의’이다. 그리고 이 설교의 본문말씀은 마태복음 6장 31-33절 말씀이며, 대상은 신학생이다.
